Why the hell should BJP crack down on 'karni sena' during election season ?

That is a stupid thing to do.

Bansali wanted a controversy for free publicity and promote his film. 'Karni sena' wants free publicity for promote their political agenda.

Both are just different sides of the same coin.

Like "award wapsi" which disappeared after Bihar election, the whole "padmavati" issue will disappear after the election and people will watch this movie in December and forget about it.

Bansali will make at least 300 crores and karni sena leader will have got his first break in politics, the news media wold have made millions via their TRP, the advertisers would have sold millions of new products due to the TRP and Left Liberals would have got their 15 mins on TV.
