This look like old video, not surprised in KPK even native hindkos are not save from nationalists. Also while in punjab average trader was against police harassing pathans for being afghanis or involved in terrorism. But in KPK looks like your average person simply harass them for being from punjab and not actually doing anything wrong. These people from punjab are likely not even settlers and just there to buy guns from barra market.

I condemn this......its indeed no less than harassment.......but i disagree that average Pashtun simply harass people from being Punjab. I buy milk and dhai on daily basis from Punjabis in the nearby market. They dont speak pashto and talk in Urdu, i have yet to see any Pashtun harassing them or throwing mean comment at them. The guys in the video are doing this to convey as message but its just wrong and awkward,....stopping people and lecturing them about attitude of their provincial government,is plain wrong and rude.......

My friend, I think its time we all internet warriors shut up now, we are doing more harm than good here. I don't think Punjabis or Pushtuns face any discrimination in Pakistan. I grew up in a small village in Punjab and i remember there was one Pushtun Family and everybody respected them more so they don't feel isolated. Few years back another Pushtun Family came to my Village and they get along with everyone fine, and interestingly head of the family had a rooster trained for cockfight, and my cousin also had one so they often arranged cockfights for fun (i am personally against this). So i am pretty sure Punjabis get treated the same way in KPK. You can't blame all the Pushtuns or Punjabis for wrongdoings of few people.

I don't know what you have seen but this video is very telling. I watched Hamid Mir program where he was interviewing average punjabi speaker and pakhtun in punjab. And punjabis said that indeed police is harassing afghanis and pakhtuns and police should stop doing that. Pakhtuns also complained about police but they never face harrasment from fellow country men. Only valid CNIC should be enough.

If punjab government banned pakhtuns as ANP hoped then KPK should do the same. But now it looks like they are simply against combing operations which mean checking and sending back afghanis as per NAP. ANP or other nationalists need to come forward and say what they feel. First they agreed to send back afghanis like all other parties in 2015 but now looks like they don't want how this is going to happen. It will happen similar to what happened in KPK, police made life difficult for afghanis and that was the reason many have gone back. There are videos/reports of of afghanis put in jail in KPK or harrased by police to get money.

70% of those arrested in Punjab and Sindh were Punjabi and Sindhi and all afghan are being arrested who are here without a visa. So any one who is trying to shape this event into a racial matter is trying to help terrorist. There are more killed in KPK than any other provenience in Pakistan by terrorist so KPK needs to Think as Pakistani and eliminate these elements.
