Islami Sadarti Nizaam is the only solution. Imran Khan should get a Presidential Ordinance today for sadarti nizaam for 90 days and validate it later by the Supreme Court. He should also give extension to COAS Bajwa today and proclaim Governor Rule in Sindh. Later on Referendum should be held. Buzdar should be replaced with Aleem Khan.

Asking army to play politics is treason, remember that. Army is duty bound to do as they are told by the civilian leadership, for better or worse.

If they disagree, the generals can resign, but to interfere in favour or against the leadership is treason in no uncertain words. Whoever wrote this thread was suggesting treason.

And yes, the only reason I can say all this is because my country has free speech, free judiciary, free media (Biased media, yes, but free media. Bias is both pro and anti govt). I would not say any of this if I were in pakistan.

Totally agree with you, most of us here are highly educated may be living abroad or hail from posh areas. This class always despised the old guard and never voted in the past. Thanks to IK they became politically aware and our voting turnout increased. But in my opinion the constant focus on witch-hunting, abuse and false dreams have left many believers in the doldrums.

"Retired" is the key word here.

By now Imran Khan should know how the system works. If the status quo is impossible to change then he should move to Britain and live with his sons. He’s popular there and can get elected to the British parliament. He would do more service to Pakistan by blocking that Indian, Rishi Sunak, from becoming the PM of GB.

What’s the point of hanging on to power if he can’t do anything? That’s been his excuse—that the system doesn’t allow him to do anything. E.g. Karachi is permanently in the control of Zardari gang.

One thing is clear. The current system is not working. It’s madness to think that going round and round in circles will somehow magically solve Pakistan’s problems.

If he can really break the status quo and do some whole-scale reforms, like switching to a presidential system, then he should stay. Otherwise he should leave and let the generals and their favorites—NS, Zardari etc. run the country.
