I hope Trump bans Pakistani visas: Imran Khan

. .
I also favour the whole western world banning Pakistanis from entering their countries, hoping that would make Pakistani's realize their true home is only Pakistan and they stop stealing money from here and running away with it.

.
Don't worry..Indians will be banned too and that will hurt them far more than it will ever to Pakistan since very few Pakistanis get US-visa as compared to Indians.

People don't realize this anti-Muslim ban is nothing more than a mask for anti-immigrant sentiments. Muslimes are not the only targets, but all immigrants, mostly non-white. Trump supporters are xenophobic and nativists. Just look at all the comments about building a wall on the Mexican border, it's filled with racism, mostly towards Mexicans.

Indians like to think they are safe. I make no illusions about such things. For most Americans, how can they tell the difference between and Indian and a Pakistani, a Hindu and a Muslim. They can't. For them Muslim is anybody who is non-white.

It will be interesting to see how Trump deals with H-1B issue, which impacts India more than anyone else.

US did not become US over night, They took 250 years , and we just need another 30 years only. With out war , focus on R&D and HD , Believe me time will change soon. Soon we will get rid of AZ and NS and all other corrupt and anti-state elements.
First let us build , and when proper time come we will shoe eyes , to whom we want to, until that time we have to play our cards very well.
And the poetry u just mention on last page , do u even know when Iqbal said that , what era was that? English are well gone now my friend !!!!!!! We need to learn Diplomacy now!!!!!!!!! and we have to make sure Pakistan get all the benefits from our actions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As a general statement, I agree with you and I wish that happens thank's to IK's unwavering stance on Panama case and his religiously following of the case proceedings at SC.. and China's providing the economic and technical know how to Pakistan... But if you are under the impression that USA has been some sort of friend to Pakistan or a benefactor in development, then we have a difference of opinion..or you can prove me wrong by providing the list of projects JV, TOT and other technical assistance in military or civilian technology in entire history of Pak-US relations?
Your best bet is China and, even, Russia that provided you the country's largest steel mills to date.. .
Rather USA has always attached strings to all purchases, you can't repair them or modify those and always watches over Pakistan like a jealous co-wife to keep it from sharing any US tech with China.. in addition, slams sanctions whenever she wishes..the latest being 17 Pakistani defence organisation while supported India to get into MTCR, NSG and even accorded the latter with favourite country for defence cooperation..

He is a typical white supremacist, racist and a characterless guy who has no respect for women and humanity as a whole and a horrible person who has got the control over the most powerful country......H1b can really hit India and people who are cheering ban on Muslim countries will soon be feel the same.. All I see is the globalisation into a reverse gear, everywhere racist, nationalist, rightists a fascists taking over the world....a world getting ready for the third and the last world war. ..

US hints at extending visa ban to Pakistan

A day after US President Donald Trump ordered no-visa policy for seven Muslim states, a White House official hinted that the ban could be extended to other countries, including Pakistan.

“You can point to other countries that have similar problems like Pakistan and others – perhaps we need to take it further,” White House chief of staff Reince Priebus told CBS News.

Pakistan not among countries to face visa ban: Trump

“But for now, immediate steps, pulling the Band-Aid off, is to do further vetting for people traveling in and out of those countries.”

In the most sweeping use of his presidential powers since taking office a week ago, Trump signed an executive order on Friday to pause the entry of travellers from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen for at least 90 days.

The travel curbs began immediately, causing confusion for would-be travelers with passports from the seven countries.

Defending the US president widely denounced order, Priebus said: “This is not a Muslim ban.”

He said Trump has solely identified countries where terrorism is taking place and could lead to danger in the US.

I pray Trump stops giving visas to Pakistanis: Imran

“All this is identifying the seven countries – and the reason we chose those seven countries is those were the seven countries that both the Congress and the Obama administration identified as being the seven countries that were most identifiable with dangerous terrorism taking place in their country.”

The move, implemented immediately by authorities, precipitated large protests across major airports nationwide. The ensuing mobilisation against the order could herald a protracted battle shaping up between migrant advocates and the Trump administration.

While a federal judge has blocked part of the temporary immigration ban, the issue may end up before Supreme Court, which has not ruled on a similar issue since the 1882 Chinese Exclusion Act.

WASHINGTON: Top White House official on Sunday suggested that more countries like Pakistan could be added to the ban list of seven Muslim countries that already include Libya, Iraq, Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus while defending US president Donald Trump’s decision in an interview, said, “You can point to other countries that have similar problems like Pakistan and others — perhaps we need to take it further,”

Priebus said during the interview that immediate steps to be taken included further vetting for people travelling in and out of those countries for now.

He added that if the administration tipped off their decision beforehand, it could’ve meant that ‘potential terrorists’ would’ve tried to enter the US.

“We’re not going to advertise to the world that we’re going to put a stop or at least further vetting on travel in and out of our country from these seven places,” he said.

“All this is, is identifying the seven countries — and the reason we chose those seven countries is those were the seven countries that both the Congress and the Obama administration identified as being the seven countries that were most identifiable with dangerous terrorism taking place in their country,” Priebus explained.

President Donald Trump’s immigration order is getting pushback from some Republicans in Congress, even as officials from Trump’s administration insist it’s a small price to pay to keep the nation safe.

Trump billed his sweeping executive order as a necessary step to stop “radical terrorists” from coming to the US It included a 90-day ban on travel to the US by citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia or Yemen and a 120-day suspension of the US refugee program.

The comments from Preibus came after a US federal judge issued an emergency order temporarily barring the government from deporting people from seven majority Muslim nations subject to Trump’s travel ban. The judge said travellers who had been detained had a strong argument that their legal rights had been violated.

The Department of Homeland Security issued a statement early Sunday that said the court ruling would not affect the overall implementation of the White House order and it affected a relatively small number of travellers who were inconvenienced by security procedures upon their return. Trump’s aides insist the judgment has little impact.

Trump’s order, which also suspends the US refugee program for 120 days and bars the entry of Syrian refugees indefinitely, has sparked major protests, including at several of the nation’s international airports. It also puts Republicans who criticised Trump’s initial campaign proposal to block foreign Muslims from entering the country in a tough spot.

According to data available, in the fiscal year 2016, the US issued 23,732 visas to the countries in the ban list, out of a total 617,752 immigrant visas issued during the same time frame.

in the end the net loser is america and americans rather then Tehran, who for decades have managed to run a country with all these sanctions from the West. Iran will be just fine.

What has America lost? Nothing. Iran has been a hostile place for americans for many years and there's next to no americans visiting Iran (except dual citizens). Iranians, on the other hand cannot attend US universities, cannot go for business conferences or meetings, cannot meet their family (for the many who have family in the US).

As developing countries with pathetic educational institutions, limited global exposure and markets we (i.e. India, Pakistan, Iran, etc.) all need nationals to stay and learn from the west - and perhaps pass on some of that back to us directly or indirectly. Jingoistic bans and retaliations are easy but only create a vicious cycle that ends up hurting the poorer country.

It would force our dumb leaders not to steal the wealth of the masses and stack it abroad in Western and Arab deposits. We don't even know how much stolen wealth is lying abandoned in foreign accounts.

Crooks do not need to physically travel to the US to remit money there. Anyway the US is not a popular destination for ill-gotten wealth. Panama, BVI, etc. are preferred for the anonymity and non-transparency.

Sooner or Later all Pakistanis living in US will come back and serve Pakistan

Errr..none of the Pakistanis who have resident rights will leave the US (same goes for Indians as well). The quality of life in the US is hugely superior to back home and I'm prepared to say that immigrants will tolerate a lot of abuse before giving those privileges up. There's also the issue of readjustment back home which is quite hard for anyone who's spent more than a few years here.

India's obsessive behaviour regarding pakistan hardly gets any sympathy in the US anyway, they find Indians extremely irritating and annoying because how they try to paint paksitan negatively all the time.

Indians (Modi and Bakhts) are hoping that Trump will ban Pakistanis.

Bro...Don't get emotional...Indians are trying very hard to put Pakistan in the list of banned countries but we will resist it at all cost...Indians won't get open field in US beltway

Sorry to disappoint you but Indians couldn't care less about immigration status of Pakistanis. There's no competition between the two for dual-use visas (H1B , L1). Non-immigrant visas (F1, B1/B2) have no caps anyway (nothing to compete) and Pakistan's own perception results in a 46% refusal rate (compared to 25% for India).

.
I think all these political people in Pakistan need to first disclose what visas they hold for UK, UAE and USA
They can travel to these countries at their own will,

Do they have permanent residence permits ? and if yes then how ?

Exactly.

Many have returned back to help Pakistan with knowledge gained in USA. Here is just one I remember

CSI Lahore: U.S. forensics big shot comes home to help Pakistan

r

By Katharine Houreld | LAHORE, PAKISTAN

As one of America's top forensic scientists, Mohammad Tahir uncovered evidence that helped jail boxer Mike Tyson for rape, convict serial killer John Wayne Gacy and clear doctor Sam Sheppard of murdering his wife.

Then Tahir took on his toughest assignment yet – applying his skills in Pakistan, a poor nation of 180 million people beset by crime and militancy.

But catching criminals is not Tahir's biggest problem. It's working with the country's antiquated criminal justice system.

The very notion of producing evidence is a newfangled concept for many involved in law enforcement in Pakistan. Cases often rely on witnesses who are easily bribed or intimidated. Terrorism and murder suspects usually walk free.

Then why your bakhts cheering up? and for what? Indians are the next target for Trump, after all he is about to bring his jobs back...

As other members pointed out, the number of visas issued to Pakistanis by US got big increase by recent years...

My view on this subject is similar a US ban would be good im the long run maybe finally we would move away from US circle

The ban will be benficial to Pakistan. The moment they ask for favors we can show the middle finger. Pakistan needs to move away from the US and Trump will help us achieve this goal.

The more Islamic countries Trump bans the better. It will put him in a very awkward position at home. The Americans are already throwing fits at Trump's ludicrous proposals. In the long run it is a win win. We have to picture this in the long term.

Don't worry bro. These Modi toadies are extremely stupid. They don't have a notion of how things work. They are falsely excited at the prospect that Pakistanis are banned from entering the US.

Trump is essentially isolating his own country by banning more nations from entering his country. Pakistan isn't alone in this ban. Trump is destroying the image of his own country. The more controversial and unpopular Trump becomes the better. The civilized world will see the true face of Nazi right wing Trump administration.

Nobody's cheering any possible visa ban on Pakistan, they're too busy worrying about adverse effects on the H1B / L1 programs - which would hurt Indian immigration. Cheering would have happened if Pakistanis competed with Indian H1B applicants - which is not the case.

As I have said before, Pakistan keeps scoring self-goals when it comes to giving westerners perception fears - same fears that feed the kind of xenophobic frenzy that supports the likes of Trump and endorses such visa restrictions. Having a sitting head of government praise chaps like Wani on the floor of the General Assembly and a sitting defense minister shoot off nuclear threats based on fake news sends all the wrong signals to administration officials - no matter what the context or how justified the cause.
