KARACHI: Former president Asif Ali Zardari on Sunday said it did not affect him how many of his men disappeared, however he was deeply concerned about safety of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, ARY News reported.

“I am worried about Bilawal’s life. I stop him from going outside due to security risk, but he would not listen to me,” he said in a statement.

He said the establishment used to accede to his opinions most of the time during his tenure and civilians were not even touched.

“They are trying to scare those coming towards him,” said the PPP leader citing towards disappearance of his three aides.

Zardari said he used to take former army chief general (retd) Pervez Kayani and former Inter Services Intelligence chief Ahmed Shuja Pasha into confidence, while taking decisions.
Shunning the notion that he had made a deal with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, he said had he made any deal with the government he would not have spent 13 years in jail.

He also took a jibe at the prime minister for taking credit of China Pakistan Economic Corridor project and nuclear technology.

The former president said Nawaz would not turn toward him unless he got stuck in a trouble. The PM wanted to win seats from Sindh, in vain. For fear of defeat, the ruling party has started pre-poll rigging in the province, however, he said, “I will exhaust him in his quest.”

He said he was yet to see the promises made by the federal government materialise. He said the government gave nothing to Sindh.

The co-chairman of PPP also spoke in favor of removing AD Khawaja as inspector general of Sindh Police. He said removing Khawaja from his post was a Sindh government’s decision. He said if he was a good officer, then were others bad cops.
Dude, it's not just your problem. Every crook has that dilemma. You stole money, cheated law and courts, and robbed and ripped off this poor nation; for what? For your children? But that bad wealth will certainly bring its curse onto them. What you sow is that's what you reap.
