Hypocrisy at Its best, Story of Pakistani Religous and Political Parties

Extremism is death of Sanity and a tricky shrewd extremist in high place has potential to ruins the nation. Unfortunately in Pakistani Political chess Board still some religious extremists command the events. These are the people who exploit the conflict and benefits from every side. Mollana Fazlurehman who is Leader of Pakistan's most power full Deobandi political Party Jamaat e Ulema Islam or JUI is a person who benefits from every situation and every government. Born in House of influential Deobandi Cleric and Political leader Mufti Mahmood, Mollana is pragmatic and as cool as steel.

Mufti Mahmood, Like other Deobandi Ulema of his era opposed creation of Pakistan.. its on the record that latter on he said in a Gathering that "Thank God we were not involved in sin of Creation of Pakistan" unlike his fathers ideology Mollana through out his political career acted Pragmatically. In Second Government of Mohterma Benazir Bhutto Mollana, with help of Likely minded Politicians, started raising status of woman in Role of Heading Islamic government. But after getting agency of Diesel he switched side and seized the propaganda. This diesel which he sold to Taliban of Afghanistan helped him to earn respect and influence in Taliban.

Yesterday the same Maulana Fazlurehman who rang the warning bells that the militants had reached Tarbela and were about to come down from Margala hills to capture Islamabad. Yesterday in a Statement Criticized Army and Government that he and His Party were not taken in Confidence before launching operation Swat. He demanded That Swat operation should immediately end. He also said that JUI and Jamaat e Islami should have been consulted because they have influence in swat and FATA.


Jamaat e Islami is one more Organize political party of Pakistan. Although it has no seat in national assembly but is one strong pressure Group. JI have loyal and organize cadre. JI also opposed the creation of Pakistan. It takes its ideology from Wahabi school of thought and has deep connections with international Islamist Parties like Akhwan ul Muslimeen of Egypt. It supported Gul Badin Hikmatyar during Afghan Jihad. Its leader ship is vocal critic of Army operations against extremists and spreading bitter propaganda against Army and forces fighting Taliban menace.

It’s very surprising that Government of Pakistan is not taking notice of such people. According to very reliable and Professional sources members JI and JUI are fighting against Government forces under the flag of Taliban. An important source disclosed that a Taliban commander contested election under banner of JUI in Bajor. He also told me that some of Taliban fighting in Bajor are political Activists of JUI and JI.


One more Political party who is trying to exploit the situation is PML N . Its leadership is trying to gather the sympathies of religious pressure groups by opposing operation on one hand and on other giving one or two statements in favor of Army operations to remain in good books of Americans. One important leader of PML N even created a drama in a program in Geo TV by shedding tears and appealing government to stop Military operation In swat.

Its time that people of Pakistan be mentally prepared without doubt to fight Taliban menace. Pakistani majority takes their religious ideology from Sufi saints. These Taliban and sympathizers , who are out come of US and western war against Soviets in Afghanistan are not more then 2 to 4 percent of Pakistani Population. This beheading, flogging is not part of Pakistani culture and Islamic ideology. The best strategy to neutralize Taliban is to neutralize their political support. Government should force JI, JUI and PML N type political groups to act in loyalty to state or ban them. Its only way we can let the unknown heroes of our security forces who sacrificed for Pakistan and world peace to rest in peace.

I for one don't trust anyone in the JUI party. These guys are the biggest hypocrites of this country and you only have to see their performance in NWFP where the whole province came to a Halt and had no progression what so ever.

The Party and their student groups are some of the most ignorant people around and this party clearly is the party of the ignoramuses. Their influence in FATA and SWAT would only lead to peace deals that have no merit and hold now ground, as if these peace deals worked before eh?. The last thing i want Pakistan to do is be consulting these morons, how they are still in power is just astounding. JUI in rallies always uses religion as a tool to push their agenda, they are absolute liers with Fake university degrees and are not even close to remotely be in a position to make decisions

The question of trust does not even arise - these parties have made a ideology of the religion of FAITH - these parties USE religion as if it was nothing, as if it was a instrument of politics - and in doing so, rob religion of the sacral and secularize it.

The FAITH (Emaan) of every individual is between the Individual (creature) and God (Creator), it is not the "business" of politicians and all those who reduce religion to a political utility.

Pakistan certainly have some very well fed clerics or "scholars" as they like to called - given the education they avail, "scholar" is a bit of stretch

They have no vision or policy and think living like a caveman is being a good muslim. I think our problem is our impatience look at india i no it has its problems but its stuck with democracy and given the people a choice so we have to stick to it, democracy improves over time and more and more reforms towards democracy take place over time and more and more the politicians become liable for any actions. Unlike a dictatorship they have to deliver or they are out so we have no chioce but to stick with democracy and let the people choose what they want if they want these fat apes then let them suffer a term under them like we did in peshawar and see thier work and progess

but when i say democracy i mean the people come first not a copy of the american system what works for america works for them it took them years to find the balance it will take many many years to find the right balance for us and to get our policies right so that development and progess goes hand in hand with erradictation of poverty and the development of the poor. I would be ecstatic if ur understanding was put in place what would be better than to have our intellectuals running the country with our best people for the job in the right place but its not like that in pakistan there is too much extremism and our Islamic leaders in this country are hypocrites who can only critisise but can do no better themselves. There has to be a complete erradication of the countries current Islamic mentality which is of misplaced rebellion and extremism and should be to develop our people through technilogy and education

In Pakistan any man standing up to the west even if its misplaced and unjustified is showered with our love why do we have such a backward mentality. If we are aimless it is to our own demise. I want democracy, i want the state of peoples lives to improve to take away the feeling of hopelessness and replace it with pride and only economic reform and democracy can give it to us. The problem has been that our democracy has been like a rich mans kid when it goes wrong the army takes over and the kid or our democracy never learns and adjusts.
