Totally agreed. This kind of tactics by Pakistani establishment won't fail to surprise you as it is not the first time. What a failure of the state to send such a culprit to the gallows. If it had happened in China, the guy would have been hanged in no time without mercy.

Only a court headed by PDF jingoists can convict Haqqani in a treason case over a plain piece of paper. In a real court with due process of law, this case would have gone nowhere.

Any decent lawyer would have blown away the prosecutors in a matter of few hearings.
