Huge Turkish and HTS casualties in failed attack

turkey is not u.s who killed 200 russian mercenaries in Syria last year and russia did nothing in response.I think turkey should not overestimate power and avoid such actions which lead to more humiliation

@AgNoStiC MuSliM How many times is he allowed to post sectarian flame bate comments? please ban this monster before he starts another sectarian war on PDF.

This is not Iran Defence Forum, it is Pakistan Defence Forum.

Criticism of toxic Iranian policy has nothing to do with ordinary Shias. Not everyone who resists Assad and Iranian proxies in Syria is a "Salafist beheader, liver eater."

@OsmanAli98 Frankly disappointed in you.

You guys wish to stifle the right of people to criticize Assad and Iran by threatening others.

I think he's criticised the current Iranian regime with his comments....and I echo that criticism.

The whole Muslim world, including Pakistan, is upset with Iranian foreign policy. This regime promoted sectarian murderous proxies in Syria and Iraq, is keeping Afghanistan disunited via racial/sectarian politics, becoming an ally of anti-Muslim fascist regimes (India, Armenia, Serbia, and Russia,) and spreading sectarian war throughout our region.

Before anyone calls us sectarian Salafists, KSA is equally reprehensible, and I have been very vocal against their policies, probably more so than Iran. Ask Arab members here, most of them refer to me as a Shia apologist.

Why should there be disappointment this is a free exchange fourm unless you are troll I respect you as a fellow Pakistani brother despite disagreements on certain issues and policies it's a fourm don't make a big deal over it

Why would Erdogan back terrorists who will most likely make Turkey a target after Syria. Seems like a faulty policy.

Turkey makes a distinction between a Wahhabi-Salafi lunatic and a kurd. To them, kurds are the only ones defined as terrorists. Others they classify as allies, including certified and documented Al-Qaeda affiliate terrorists, Jabhat-al-Nusra A.K.A Hayat Tahrir-al-Sham (HTS). Turks think that by backing these terrorists, they are on the right side of history against Assad the dictator!! But what can you expect when all parties involved are all a bunch of j@ck@$$es.

Neither party is muslim. Its just nationalistic and political garbage. I say go to hell to both parties fighting brothers with brothers over land and political power.

Neither is Muslim. I stay away. They can go to hell.

let's imagine that Iran did not intervened and the rebellion/revolution toppled him, do you think US/west would tolerate a MB ruled country?? they would simply topple them and hunt them with help of other influential parties like they did in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and etc. and then install a pro west government that accept Israel. and that would effectively cut our hand from Lebanon and Palestine.

According to Iranians, we just imagined the humanitarian catastrophe in Syria.
But is that catastrophe because of a dictator, Assad, who wanted to cling to power no matter the cost or militias provided by Iran?

The Iranian militias acted in concert with Assad, but the chemical weapons, heavy artillery and civilian casualties were all controlled by Assad, not Iranian militias.

ASSad wouldn't be here without the Iranian regime... In the brink of defeat around 2012, Iran pushed the "full help" button for ASSad... That to this day have provided Billions and Billions of $... Equipments... Commanders and Endless Shia fighters across the region... From Pakistan/Iraq/Lebanon/Afghanistan/Uzbek and so on...
The Iranian Regime to this Day is the Word/PR of ASSad across the region and beyond...
The Troll Factory is Mostly operated by Iran.
And so on and on...

Yes the Iranian Regime is as Murderous as the ASSad regime...

I will not even go into their "Other" Actions across the region, whatever in Lebanon with Hezb / Iraq or Yemen... To this day, Thousands are killed in IRaq, because of that same Iranian Regime, where they created a state inside a state loyal to them... Lebanon, Where Dozens of Thousands of Shia Fighters were given the green light/support/equipment to join ASSad Forces as early as 2011... and the list goes on...

Well... Iranians themselves are killed by thousands every year by that same "regime"...

They are at fault and One day, they will be held responsible for that. Same goes for whoever make his passion, the counting of corpses in hope to keep their borders free from conflicts...

So you think it is ok or fair to ban one viewpoint and not the other?

It is ridiculous, already Pakistani government feels they need to walk on egg shells about Iran, while Iran openly supports India and gives it a base of operations against Pakistan in Afghanistan, Chahbahar, and now Oman. We are not fools.

We should be fair and treat all allies of India the same, not just criticize Gulf Arabs alone. Both are strong supporters of Modi and have went all in.

Assad is the main culprit and he has no qualms about religion, he is an atheist. Unfortunately some rebels and Iranian proxies have pushed the rhetoric of sectarian war, and he is content to see his people being killed on all sides as long as he stays in power.

Without Iranian and Russian support though, he would not last another day.

No I did not say ban but why do you have to feel disappointed just because some other members have other viewpoints I think it's unfair I had my comments deleted by mods here for opposing the Turkish policies in Syria

No matter what someone's political views are, calling for a ban to those who disagree is kind of extreme behavior.

I have well established reasons for being opposed to current Iranian policies in the region as it is against the interests of my country, but that does not mean I will stop Iranians from supporting their country or its policies. Of course their reasons for supporting their country also is understandable and expected.

However, why do you as a Pakistani feel the need to defend Iran and its policies, even going as far as to support calls for banning another Pakistani member. I cannot for the life of me understand this. Care to explain?

Some Pakistanis here are delusional about their support for Turkey. So delusional, that anyone who critisizes Turkey's blatant aggression in Syria, is immediately labelled as an Assad supporter. What such people don't realize is that some of us look at the subject matter objectively and identify the "real culprits" as saudi, qatari regimes, america, france, britain and turkey. Assad does have blood on his hands, and as true Muslims we would want to bring him to justice. However, this shall NOT be achieved by aligning ourselves with america, britain, france, saudi, qatar and turkey.

The moment of reckoning is nigh, for Turkey. It has a choice to either work with Russia to bring peace first to Syria. And it is exactly what "True Muslims" want. When peace is established in Syria, all terrorists are eliminated and all uninvited foreign militaries leave. Then the process of strictly monitored elections shall be held, with Assad NOT being a candidate. It is then, that the Syrian people may exersize their right to choose their leader.

Delusion... is indeed something you should understand yourself first...
Work with Russia to bring peace... Even Pro-ASSad don't even go this far...
Morality is indeed a cheap bargain nowadays...
