China lost in1979 against Vietnam. It in 1962 was a clear victory against India. Nothing happened in 84.
Another one who does not know what is an ADIZ.China has no plan to establish a SCS ADIZ as of now and in the foreseeable future.
If China do, there's nothing Vietnam can do to stop it.
"Vietnam can declare their own ADIZ to reciprocate against China’s"
If China declares SCS ADIZ, it has the capability to enforce it. Doesn't matter if other countries won't admit its existence, because it's there and planes that violates it get intercepted; just like the East China Sea ADIZ.
Vietnam does not have the capability to maintain a large ADIZ like this, all countries in the area can more or less ignore it.
Within a few years, most country would forgot that such ADIZ ever existed.
"a Vietnamese ADIZ that covers the Paracel Islands could cause the damage that China would rather avoid"
I doubt that there would be any damage at all.
China lost the war with Vietnam?
Then I do not understand why China border troops continued to occupied those invaded territory inside North Vietnam for one month until they pulled out as they announced as per their schedule before the war started.
Why was their NO RESISTANCE from the great Vietnamese fighters?
I bet you have been listening to too many Western and VC propaganda.
Example:
Many American like to boast that they won the Korean War and so I passively asked them why is North Korea still around? The US Military has already reached Yalu River next to China and MacArthur even wanted to march all the way to Beijing. Why threatened to nuke Beijing when USA was already winning the ground war?
Why on earth with her superior military firepower, USA has to perform the "Operation Retreat" in Korea and so many American GI died?
The US won the Korean War by having South Korea. Not only that, South Korea is a much better place than North Korea. Many American like to boast that they won the Korean War and so I passively asked them why is North Korea still around?

We will simply erase Hanoi and Saigon with megaton warheads and then spray agent orange to finish off the survivors.
hey, the situation is not that bad. The strategic weapons of PLA is not made for our neighbors. I think we are all clear of this.
America never won Korean War. It's the Korean War experience with Red China that helped shaped the US strategy in Vietnam. US clearly lost Vietnam war.
China lost the war in 79 as the limited war failed to achieve its objective.
Yes. You are right. China can easily reannexed Vietnam as her former territory of ANNAM. The North Vietnamese are in fact Chinese.
South Vietnam was an annexed territory by the ANNAM King after the Kingdom of Kampa was destroyed by them.
Really. The tell me what was the objective of China then?
super!In fact, I am.

You are an expert on different kinds of machinery, on high speed trains, on electric vehicles, on shooting drones with guns, on Asian history, on democracy and human rights. Now you are even a better expert than World Health Organization on health topic!
What a talent you are!! It is indeed a loss to Vietnam to let you move to Canada.
why buying brahmos? it is like you have a Toyota, and now you buy the second car, which is Mazda.
let me know if you have more questions, I am wiling to educate such clown like you.
Vietnam yahont missiles
"The tell me what was the objective of China then?"
Retreat.
Nope, I'm just better than you in everything.
That is a lame reply!
Mr bozo wanted to play teacher now. FOTCL
Sure. What else do you play apart from teacher, perhaps nursemaid with a whip?
That was precisely what those poor Vietnamese soldier boys "The Elite Vietnamese Flying Tigers" were doing until they were all eliminated. Too bad! Now they are history!
That was not the MAIN objective but it did force Vietnam to withdraw their best soldiers out of Kampuchea to guard North Vietnam border later which leads to the defeat of Vietnamese invading forces in Kampuchea!China tried to force Vietnamese retreat from Cambodia. That was not achieved. So it was a strategic failure.
US intelligence satellite only revealed that only China only send in 80,000 troops in their invasion of Vietnam. You really got twisted. 200000 Chinese soldiers vs 100000 Viet soldiers. Some 60000 dead Chinese soldiers. Around 15000 dead for Vietnam. Did you achieve your objective? yes, by retreating. Duh. I know it's hard that you guys suck at fighting a war. You don't have to admit it. You guys suck.
