It wasn't in respect to the discussion. But regarding the article, it has proven facts and some tall claims at the same time.

Nobody in Bangladesh is going into a military confrontation with India. But if you do threaten our sovereignty for whatever reason, we'll respond accordingly.

Bangladesh has done a decent job in combating terrorism. The US has praised Bangladesh back in the BNP administration and now. And it'll always be that way.

Anti-India sentiment can go up if India continues it's negative interactions in Bangladesh. This not a threat, but just a warning.

1. All Bangladeshi members of PDF are Rajakars.
2. We are brainwashed Muslims hell-bent on conspiracy theories.
3. Anything mildly critical of India or the Awami-League will automatically be deemed as anti-Indian. Therefore Indians are not human!
4. Sheikh Mujib was was incapable of any wrong doing. He was perfect! All of who are critical are Rajakars and traitors Therefore Mujib was a god
5. Sheikh Hasina and her party are always correct regardless of the opinions of Bangladeshis. ALL Bangladeshis are poor and illiterate. Therefore Hasina is a goddess to them Anyone criticizing Hasina for any reason are traitors. There is no one in Bangladesh more patriotic than Hasina.
6. We are a backward country incapable of any potential. Bangladeshis are jealous of Shining India therefore we suffer from inferiority complex

The more I see the Indian attitude towards its neighbours, the more I realise the reasons behind the partitions. And again, I can't really blame them as the society is deeply affected with a caste system. I wouldn't really have a problem with such arrogant people even if some of the claims they make were true. The facts have it the other way: India has 1/3 of the world's poverty.
I am behind Mujib and AL behind 1971 stance. I support Bangladesh's independence, but I think the Indian assistance was nothing but a great loss for us and honestly given the deep cultural difference between bangladesh and pakistan, the creation of Bangladesh was inevitable, sooner or later. That is why I believe India's help is cursed. They tell us they helped us in the war and we should be grateful to this people, but one look at the famine in 1975 will tell you a different story. It has been a well documented fact (I know the Indians will deny this) India played a great role in creating a famine in 1975 and it is a fact that india was reluctant to help us at all. I don't blame the role on India 100% because it was the people of AL who was smuggling out all the relief and donations we received.
and Again I must make myself clear that I don't really blame or hold any grudges for India's action because it did what it did for its own benefit and given the level of poverty there(back then), it is expected. But what I have a problem with is the Indian attitude that it is behind the creation of Bangladesh and how it dismantled the Pakistani army in two days with their superior technology and it did because it is a great country which cared for the people of Bangladesh and they had no strategic interest and they had no opportunist intentions and they are a good neighbour who just happens to live in a bad neighbourhood.

I don't know why some Indians expect Bangladeshis to be grateful or even acknowledge India's part in their liberation. All countries need a heroic tale to make themselves proud... so no point getting pissed when they say "we did it all by ourselves".
