Well, recently a USAF Gen. stated he could deploy 20-25 B-1s, 35-40 B-52s, and 18-20 B-2s bombers in the opening 24 hours of war. Or 75-85 total.

12x B-1s and 12x B-52s alone would be capable of launching 528 antiship missiles in multiaxial strikes.

10 B-2s would be capable of launching 800 highly accurate Small Diameter Bombs on Chinese warships and transports.

So yes, the US is fully capable of decapitating the PLAN at the outset.

Yes u might be right but as secetary if defence said war planning r not done on single scenario. Yes you have capabilities to hit china but before that u have to deal with 1700 plus fighters. Than u have to also save yourself from the retaliation against your bases in all around the world including your mainland along with your CBG

Why would they attack our mainland when this about the S china sea. In a war, escalation is carefully calculated. If they don't want the US and NATO hitting the Chinese mainland, they will stay away from our mainland. No islands in S China is worth risking mainland attacks.
