Well, considered We (I personally) kicked ISIS asses during the first round in 2003/2004, I would say - No, you are wrong.
I am not against you, you never served in any armies, you don't know what's it like to be a soldier, for you, soldiering is like sitting in front of a keyboard and saying this and saying that. For me, fighting in a war is not just something I said, it's something I did, it's all about experience. I can talk a lot about war, but in the end, no one can tell you what's war is like, it's like I am asking you to tell me what's the taste of chocolate. I can't tell you and make you understand, you have to taste chocolate yourselves to know what is the taste.
being a soldier is not simply have a radio ready 24/7 and call air support every time you hit slack, air support can't be there every time you are in trouble. If you depend on air support on getting you out of a jam, then there are only one way you can go, that is to hell in a hand basket. So by your logic, either the US army fight every battle, every hours and every minutes with sort of Fighter Flying overhead, or the whole Army would have been killed because they can't fight without Air Support. For that I would say Ha, for the first one, and ROFL for the second one.
Sometime it's okay for you to admit you know a grand total of jack Shit on something, rather running your month and embarrasses yourselves, sometime it's a lot easier to say "I am sorry, I don't know anything about this."
