Nowaday US has setup their nukes at vincinty of China such as in Japan and SK, also they have installed all kind of earlier warning sensors to detect Chinese strategical missile deployment and actvities and with anti-missile such THAAD, it will be hard for China to achieve the second nuclear strike but if China made strategical space shutlle to carrier Nuke warhead that can fly to space and orbiting directly above US, we can achieve the most effective counter strike, we can virturally strike any location of US without warning, it can be as effective as strategical nuclear submerine.

Space will be a future high tech conflict platform that only some countries can master it, when China make the strategical spaceplane that can carry nuke warhead, US will lost all the advantage that they currently has. Imagine with 10 of these spaceplane that can carrier 10 warhead each and fly from China control aerospace and safely orbiting, we will add another dimension of deterrent capability.

Well as much as I appreciate the creativity of the OP, basic strategic doctrine dictates, that strategic weapons should remain hidden / allusive to the enemy. Considering that there are an extremely limited number of space launches, in a week, such an exercise could prove to be futile.

On the other hand a small, fast, nuclear powered sub, with maybe 2 or 4 SLBM, could prove to be nightmare for the opposing forces.

Just my humble opinion.

Due to current treaty to prevent a direct deployment of Nukes on earth orbitial, spaceplane or space bomber is not different from the current strategic bomber, the warheads still conceal within the inner bay of the spacecraft so noneone can see what we have inside the spaceplane. the unmanned spaceplane can be set to be on the orbit for years until the decisive moment to put the good use of it.

When Russia send this bear patroling US coast, Amercians don't know what is inside, nuke or conventional weapon.... this has created alot of psycholofgical deterrence. Same for Spaceplane, American can't stop China to check what is inside before lauching into the orbit.

you just cant, the US will the US, unlike you it does not copies russian wwapons and gives them chinese names. the US will always have technological edge over you people.

Can China nullified the Strategic Advantage from the US? The simple answer is no.

Nuclear weapon and or their re-entry vehicle are only there to deter other from attacking. However, many people did not realise that in case of a thermonuclear war, the war does not ends with Country launching their nude. But still about ground force fighting in enemy territories after nuke was launched. That is why soldier on either side (I actually don't know about China) are trained to fight under CNBR condition.

considered the war value of space launch nuclear weapon, unless China or any country can develop a rapid launch sequence that would virtually impact and destroy the United States before the US can launch their Nuclear Arsenal. That is, completely destroy the US before US can launch it ground based Silo, otherwise it would be a moot point as if you have given US enough time to response, the end result will be the same, that is US will launch a full retaliatory strike and destroy the attacker. Then there are still sub based nuke.

Launching without US knowing does not equal to US does not know a nuclear strike is coming from outer space. So, that render the space launch nuke useless (or at the same level as any ground based nuke) hence that changes nothing

. . . .
A first strike can wipe out all USA cities. Then they would be unable to continue the fight on the other side of the globe.

Not only cost effective, but safe as well, compared to space based nukes.

For current Chinese situation when Americans are trying to nulify our nuke deterrence with all kind of counter-measure such THAAD, developing the space nuke option is the most effective way maybe not the cost-effective way to deal with US, of course that doesnt mean we will abandon the strategical nuclear sub deterren. Imagine when the nuke just floating over American homeland, we already save have of 90% of ballistical trajet and time basically our nukes are just in Americans step door to enter American atmosphere any moment....there is no better replacement for thi option.

This is the exact reason why they have 2nd and 3rd Strike capability.

That is a very dangerous scenario - A Nuclear Space Race. It could have very catastrophic results.

1) The policy makers have to think this one out very carefully.
2) A safe delivery system would be imperative.
3) THAAD or any other BMD system is not 100% accurate, e.g. a simple volley of dumb rockets would render it useless etc. etc.
4) There are only so many satellites out there. A weaponized one would stick out like a sore thumb.

In this particular scenario for sure, things are not as simple as they appear.

. .
It's better to have submarines. It's only a matter of time before the US starts testing orbital railguns and lasers as anti-satellite weapons.
I remember in the 80's or 90's the US tested an anti-satellite missile, using an F15.
