their services are costlySomewhere I read Karachi has 250K armed-to-the-teeth private guards - many with the Afgan War experience!! Is it possible for you to hire one of them?
No idea. I abhor carrying fire arms. Although I inherited an Italian Beretta Single Barrel Semi Automatic Shotgun from my father. Nowadays I have it at my elder brother's home for safe keeping.

I will tryI think you will have to write an application to your Deputy Commissioner
Very well said, now how do I get these firearms?Firearms are modern day self defence, attack or deterrence weapons. In our prophet's (SAW) home there used to be only one meal per day but there were swords and armor always ready hanging on the walls. You might see the world in a very idealist manner in which no one would have firearms yet still, one might show up at your house.
Trust me, you cannot even imagine the anxiety of an invasion of your own house, privacy or an attack on your family. Your firearms may not help you on that day, but without them, you maybe left with regret.
May Allah help us from the 'fear of men' as talked about in Surah Al-Nas. Islam tells us to be prepared rather than leaving everything to Allah. Indeed he helps the ones who help themselves.
