How the United States Will Become a 3rd World Country

Wrong. What does US manufacture? US is a consumer nation at best. Get in touch with reality? Blind Patriotism is a disease.

OMG! :hitwall:

From where do you think all those airplanes operated by airlines come from? Or those aircraft engines? Software and IT? Apple? IBM? HP? F-16sssssssss!!!???

Yes, true that it's industries aren't as great as the old days.

Profit-driven corporations outsourced their production operations to countries like China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Philippines etc. But you have to realize that the US economy is extremely advanced. It is not longer a production based economy like China, or smaller third world countries.

Of-course, things like Coca-Cola must be produced in local areas (no one would buy a $40 can of Cola )

The USA evolved into a knowledge-based economy. For the US to be sustainable, it has to continually lead innovations in every field out there. This similarly applies to other advanced economies.

Although, I believe the American manufacturing sector could have done better in the consumer markets. They should work on this more.

The article posted is literally BS. The USA will become a third world country, good one

Why do you keep coming to U.S. if it's so bad. Get real. If U.S. is a 3rd world country, India is the shithole of the Universe.

So your only counter argument is calling India a shithole?

.
What a load of BS.........

If US is to be third world country then rest of the world would be living in stone age.

Love it or hate it ...................US is going to reign supreme in the future.

They have got the best brains working for them.

Innovation and Invention ........................ US is the best in both.................so get real people.......

Lol at your cbs source Gambit. Let's be real here, what does the US produce? Even our nations helicopter parts come from China, which we assemble here. And yea, I work at Sikorsky. So what do you have to say now?
And I say you still do not know what the hell you are talking about. I have been in the semicon manufacturing industry for over 15 yrs now and America lead the world in that. Care to research on how many fabs are there in the US, American and foreign companies? I will start...

How the United States Will Become a 3rd World Country

The United States is increasingly similar to a 3rd world county in several ways and is accelerating towards 3rd world status. Economic data indicate a harsh reality that obviates mainstream political debate. The evidence suggests that, without fundamental reforms, the U.S. will become a post industrial neo-3rd-world country by 2032.

Fundamental characteristics that define a 3rd world country include high unemployment, lack of economic opportunity, low wages, widespread poverty, extreme concentration of wealth, unsustainable government debt, control of the government by international banks and multinational corporations, weak rule of law and counterproductive government policies. All of these characteristics are evident in the U.S. today.

Other factors include poor public health, nutrition and education, as well as lack of infrastructure. Public health and nutrition in the U.S., while below European standards, stand well above those of 3rd world countries. American public education now ranks behind poorer countries, like Estonia, but remains superior to that of 3rd world countries. While crumbling infrastructure can be seen in cities across America, the vast infrastructure of the United States cannot be compared to a 3rd world country. However, all of these factors will rapidly deteriorate in a declining economy.
