How Spin Masters Made You Believe Indians Have Maximum Confidence In Their Government

What happened to claims of chaos in the country by 2015,2016,2017.
It seems haters have given up on 2019.

Any way India Constitution and judiciary has checks and balances to any govt if it tries to change the fabric of the society.
And you think there's no chaos right now? Read the foreign media mate, they will show you the mirror... When I speak of 2019 or 2024, I speak of further detoriation in law and order and the peaceful coexistence of Indians...

It's amply clear to the nation this time ki iss baar ungal kisne pehle ki.

It is irrelevant what the numbers are. Modi seem to have the confidence of large swath of society.
He has not done anything negative.

but to be realistic he just made India's foreign policy incrediblely dynamic. I was shocked to hear that people in Hong Kong knew more about modi than xi.

Demonetisation was and is the biggest scam that has ever been perpetrated on the people of the nation by the polity. It is so brazen and obscene that it makes my blood boil.

New job creation is at its lowest. Ever.

The GDP growth is at its lowest in the past 15 years. In spite of crude prices being half of what they were.

And Hindu lunatics are running rife across the country thinking they and only they own it. While he does nothing, says nothing.

I think that's negative enough.

There was a great deal more chaos in society and a lot less peaceful coexistence in this country 30 years ago.

And it was even worse than that 70 years ago.

I think we forget there used to be riots in this country somewhere practically on a daily basis in the 70s. India was partitioned because Muslims and Hindus "ate separately, dressed differently etc"

All this has softened not hardened with time - people are coming together - the difference is not noticeable over a period of one year or two - but over decades the emotional environment has changed enormously - and I believe it will continue to do so

Remember all those bright eyed 18 year olds who voted for Feku in 2014.

Most of them still won't have jobs in 2019.

That is so and ideally should lead to the obvious outcome at election time.

What Modi us trying to do is to prepare a loyalty among voters such as Congress had till Indira Gandhi. Or if that is not possible, at least the kind of support that Erdogan and Putin have among their loyal fans.

He tries a new thing once in a while. Anti-corruption, cow protection, China standoff. The plan basically being to have some identity that will transcend the government's actual performance and will make people vote for it regardless.

Congress loyalists are not only Indira voters. They actually believe in the institution.

The only thing rallying the Hindus (all others like me have left, or will eventually) to the BJP now is their innate dislike/hatred for Muslims.

But they're Hindus.

When it starts hitting their stomach, they'll vote like they've always voted.

Wait.

Youth is fed propaganda via whatsapp n face book
Cow vigilant is killing human for bovine, where as cows are actually dying with no care.
The gas electricity prices are higher
We are buying garbage for billions look at f16 deal.

One thing I have noticed is that Modi followers are a very scared lot. They obviously want to put a brave face at all times. As if he and consequently they are in control.

But the constant battle in public space to claim credit, highlight achievement and defend against criticism is unparalleled in Indian politics. I think the scars of 2004 haven't healed and they are aware that things can go wrong without anyone informing them about it. So the lesson learned from 2004 was that it is wrong to just let your favourite party do campaigning, everyone must pitch in.

Like 2004, they will be booted out again.

This time around the bushes has taught us (me at least) one thing quite definitively.

And that is that the BJP and the Sangh's agenda is set in stone.

It has not changed a whit from the times of the birthing psychos like Golwilkar and co.

They do not want a secular India.

I cannot live in anything but a secular India.

Therefore there is a serious dissonance there. One that means I need to be awake to their games for the rest of my days. And make sure I inform as many Indians as well about the same.

We have all contributed to building India.

We must therefore all fight together to save it.

Sometimes from ourselves.

Cheers, Doc
