How Muslims were massacred in Gujrat

It is always about Humans not about Religion. Faith is for humans, there is no political ideology associated with it nor we are trying to defend a single man's empire with our lives.
Yes I can agree to that
Regarding rules, rule are flexible as always depending on the situations and changes !!

There is guidance in Vedas and Bhagavatam !!
Yet if you can add and subtract at will they must not be strict....And if they are not strict nor to be followed but to be changed then why are they there?

Vedas do not discriminate nor they encourage to kill the other political party workers. Dharma is not fighting another political party for power and is discriminating party workers based on the flag they wear.
No religion does
We say "Vasudaika Kutumbam" "Global family"

"Sarve Jana sukino Bhavanthu" May all the mankind be blessed and peaceful !!
We say the same

You can live but countries have rules and authorities have the responsibility to maintain peace and harmony.
Likewise we have rules to life and how to behave on the earth (like authorities can set the rules for their country) god set the rules for us to live on his planet!

As i stated earlier, that question has already been answered here.
How is killing while being outnumbered and knowing of a backlash be answered by trying to justify a retaliation?

Which has been answered here:
Havent read this...going to read that

As i said, it is not my problem if you do not like my answer.
It is not about me liking or not...But you talked about XYZ rather than answer ABC

When "hindutva terrorism" kills 0.00001% as many muslims as were killed by the Pakistani army in bangladesh, we will be concerned.
dont be an idiot, the world is not blind anymore, we can clearly see your propaganda, as how the Eveil West Pakistan Army killed and raped millions, while the numbers killed were not even in thousands and the numbers raped were closer to zero. Spare me the cruel West Pakistan army rantings

@Akheilos

What did i justify?
I clearly stated in multiple posts that both sides were stupid but considering the divide in subcontinent its better for minority to stay away from such acts as train burning as ultimately it will suffer.

Secondly i take exception to op posting this thread and not showing the full picture which is that burning train started the riots which is a fact proven by nanavati commission report probed by 2 judges and established in a court of law.
Not you silly! You keep claiming that I have justified it! Seriously stop drinking!

You have a high class life and education .So you cant think like that of an illetrate youths inremote areas of Gujarat something that was majority in that time .

When someone told them about the killing of Hindu pilgrims next thing they would probably do is the hunting of the people having same religions as that of killers. And that is their culture.Even Army cant resist such a violent mob.
You would probably know what would happen when thousands of mobs in furious marching against an entire community .Not even Army cant handle them easily.
Now THAT is probably an answer to my question! Thank you!

Bhai, by your logic, Hindus and Buddhists should be massacring people in Srinagar by the dozens daily for butchering and exiling our people in that state Or for that matter to avenge the history of barbaric massacres done against our community.

This is a flawed fear mongering that it is only for this that they are joining ISIS and SIMI.

If this is what they want then they will get more of it by the Indian army for joining terrorist organizations.

This is a country, not a useless desert land.

I agree there are other catalysts as well in the case u mentioned.
I was just giving a narrative and many muslim youth indeed express anger on 2002,right or wrong is debatable.

The only thin that matters is this should never be allowed to happen again

I studied in a hindu school till 6 th standard.
Then a sikh school for 4 years.

There is 0 religious education/content in indian books.
Go and check urself
National Council Of Educational Research And Training :: Home

Feel free to open any book and challenge me here.Should i show u pakistani books by the way prescribed not by madarassa which i will not include but normal public schools here?
Hindu schools?? as far as i know hindus do not have the rights to own a religious school, that right is only given to minorities.

Yaar it was a dayanand/arya samaj trust school.
U have the network all over india, its a diferent matter they don't teach anything related to religion which was my point really

Such acts cannot be justified by any viewpoint

Actually what you are stating is Kantian morality. It is just one of the branch of moral philosophy. Any act could be justified on basis of utilitarian principles as long as you could find a major benefit in that act.

When individuals are judged, you have various tools to judge morality of an act. But in case of groups, utilitarianism is best tool.

Though it did instill fear in some terrorist elements temporarily but overall it has done much more harm actually as many terrorists are turning to im/simi etc for avenging those riots.

If we look at it in a cold, calm, and calculated manner; Riot did had strong philosophical justifications.

Godhra train burning was an unprovoked act of collective violence by Muslims. If not avenged in one manner or another, it would have set up a dangerous precedence and would has lead to repetition of these incidents in future. Terrorists are a very small problem in front of incessant bullying and political muscle flexing that would have been done by muslims, had they not been put in their proverbial place.

The only good that could have stopped these riots was if Justice was done by state in form of quick prosecution of perpetrators, which in context of India is .........meh.....

not exactly, minorities have the right to establish and administer their religious schools . You can read more here.
minorities rights

So its justifiable? 2 wrongs make a right? Then another 2 wrongs will make another right for the Muslims and so on...

No it did not, That incident did change the perception of Muslims living in Gujarat, were Hindu's will fight back..... So, it was not the question of two wrongs, the question was one wrong was going on for too long, and the other faced it without retaliation!!!
The burning train was just the spark it needed to retaliate....
