How muslims see about China?

Uyghurs were never Chinese; nor do they share much of a culture or ideology with them..just saying. Not that I really support their independence.

China got developed during the last decades, how Muslim see about China politically, economically and militarily ? Muslims are major player in the world, we want to listen to your voice.

Pakistan is a Muslim majority country ( 98 % Muslim ) and I know like me, Majority of Pakistani Muslims support CHINA. China has been a true friend to Muslim countries and that is being recognized now as more and more Muslim World is reaching out to China to improve relations with this Economic Giant.

Speaking from a historical perspective, soon after Prophet Muhammad preached AL ISLAM, Islam arrived in China in early 7th Century. Saad Bin Abi Waqqas ( Maternal uncle of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH ) along with three other companions of the Prophet arrived in China around year 616 AD. So in that sense Islam has been on Chinese soil for nearly 1400 years. Prophet Muhammad once said that if you had to acquire knowledge and for that if you had to go as far as China, you should do that. This shows how important and popular China was to the earliest Muslims.

Because China invade it and occupied it in 1818 and a lot of Muslims got killed while defending their lands in Xinjiang, then it got its independence in 1944 but the communist regime in China invade it again then occupied it in 1949.

Close Ally would be much better. There are no 'true friends' out there; if China has allied with us it's because her interests lie here. Nothing less, but nothing more either.

Thank you Brother for being so honest. It is the same Muslims who downplay Islamic Brotherhood connection and highlight Arab Nationalism. I thought the Prophet PBUH warned against this kind of attitude and considered all Muslims of all nationalities as brothers to each other.

i and many more want a strong muslim countries who can keep their freedom and independence for example
1 syria hezbollah iran they have formed a strong alliance who stood up to isreal in 2006 and until now

And I agree that CHINA is a Good Friend of Muslim countries on the whole.

I believe we Muslims should unite with each other as Muslims.

We should not let our enemies divide us as Sunni and Shias or as Persians versus Arabs or Turks.

Muslims of the World --- UNITE.

Look at European Christians united making alliances like NATO fighting Muslim countries all over the Planet.

Religion never ever unite people in the moment of crisis, but necessity always unite nations to come to same table. If religion is factor to get united then neither WWI not WWII would have happened. Because all of these happened more or less with same religion. If religion would have been a factor then Russia and USA~Europe will be on the same side of the coin rather than fighting with each other in 20th Century.....And again...not to say the least ....If religion would be a factor then OIC would be a super power along with NATO and middle east will not be burning with fighting between different Islamic nation.....And again...not to say the least.....India and nepal would not have been any issue with each other because Nepal is the only Hindu nation apart from India who is logically a hindu majority nation....

Guys go behind the history..... interest and unity based on religion has always created destruction everywhere...where as development and economy has brought nation from different status closer to each other...Today China is a power and Muslim world likes it ...But no one put the other side of the coin.....Islamic world who are not aligned with USA and NATO simple donot have any choice rather than to align with China... Believe me....If Iran is in sync with China or Syria'Assad is aligned with China then it is not that they like it or love it....It is because ...in this world...they don't have any choice rather than being in love with China..And again...China need Islamic nation...because they need their resources....

So in an overall perspective, weak nation and weak people always needs union/unity and protector....Strong nation don't need it....Like in US and Europe relation..Europe need USA more so as to protect itself from erstwhile USSR but the degree of necessity is not the same for USA to Europe....

So for China...enjoy your time and hard work that people of your nation has done in last 50 year...You and your nation does not leave any choice to other nations who are in opposite side of USA and NATO to make a choice...They have to align with you as damn it....they don't have any choice..... It is greatest achievement you have achieved( Believe me i can dream of if India can at least dream of it)

Unfortunately, KSA and Turkey are weak countries, you can not do anything. Now you are just puppets of the West, killing your Muslim brothers.

From recorded history, China was there at least since Han dynasty. Before China, there was a country called Xiongnu, possibly ancestors of Mongolia. The Uyghurs were brought there later by Mongolians possibly as slaves.

BTW Xinjiang was never an independent country. Your so-called 1944 independence happened only in a tiny corner of Xinjiang and only lasted a few years.

I agree with your point, China does want to lead any people, Muslims can collaborate with Chinese for their own benefits. To be honest, a strong Muslim superpower will benefit China naturally.

Go easy on Xinjiang, give more rights to Muslims...need to say more? That's me speaking as a Muslim.

As a Pakistani, however, China is a important current ally, so there's the bit of respect.
