• Decaying Police , and no reforms
• City Community started to build cages around their homes to feel secure (it became acceptable)
• People started to constructed walls around their homes laced with shredded glass to prevent theft
• Government Offices were filled up with, unproductive workers, hired with no Merit

Power struggle between , MQM - PML- PPP (Inter city gang gang war)
RAW's involvement in flaming war between factions


Bombing which commenced in City around 80's with no apparent motive all contributed to changing the image Karachi had in world

Supressive Quota System not based on Merit but Handouts

• Last 20 years it has been story neglect in term of metro stats and projects

Once Police became Impotent , the streets were taken over by Political workforce who claimed taxes in order to support the cause

Indeed Sindh and its unique Sindhi culture of tolerance are one of the greatest casualties of partition. In the land of Sindh itself Sindhi speakers are minority and its a dying language. Both Hindu Sindhis and Muslim Sindhis are linguistic minorities now. The first chief minister of independent Sindh saw it forecoming and did his best to save migration of Hindus, but his governement was dismissed by Liaquat due to this reason.
Sindh is the land of Sufi's and everyone want to come in sindh, my family also migrated from turkey becuase of one reason

Holy Prophet (PBUH) Told Hazrat Abu Huraira (RA):
"From the Umat (Followers of Islam currently) there will be a rise of Battalions from Sindh (Indus) and Hind (Sub-continent)" on which Abu Huraira said If I got opportunity to be part of such a movement and if I martyred then it is good, if I returned alive I will be like free Abu Huraira who is freed from Hell by Allah".

There are no Muhajirs in Pakistan and those who migrated to Pakistan are history now.Pakistanis are literate now and there are hardly very few Paindoos who still believe in Punjabi Pashtun Muhajir wageera so we must act independently now and must reject thugs.Pakistan is our country and we must love this country.One can learn for the past but one can not live in the past for ever. I believe Sindhi and the Balouch should do the same. The most horrible thing one can do is to tell a person that he/seh is good for nothing. Positive reinforcement can change the mind set of community and can change the community for ever. American made big mistake with Blacks "African Americans" they were told by their White Masters "White American" that Black Salves were simply dumb and they have no role in society other than in the fields as farm help. Even today Blacks are told in America they are good for noting even though OBAMA is "Black" and President of USA. Black are encouraged to be in the Entertainment and Sports only other than that very few Blacks have really made their name in America as main stream educators, scientists or businessman. On the hand Asian are making big in the USA and if you take any field of knowledge you will find a Chinese or someone from Subcontinent behind the success. The only solution for depressed community is that the community mustwake up and not blame others and get educated and within one generation things can be reversed for good.My family was also Muhajir and migrated from Turkey and adopted the local langugae sindh to blend with socity .tell that to Mohajir's themselves, many of whome treat native Pakistani's, the people who allowed them to come to their lands, as backwards. They have lived in Pakistan for over 60 years, used it for all its resources, exploited and treated the native people badly, and talk badly about the country and its people at every given opportunity. After 60 years in the country I have yet to meet a single Mohajir who can speak a single native language of Pakistan. Many also, are not happy in Pakistan and act like a 5th column, Pakistan should begina repatriating them back to their native india and return those non-Muslim Pakistani Mohajirs .Pakistan was and is for everyone

I have never heard a Canadian or Australian talk about their Province or City more then their country

Political and Military Solution of Karachi Operation

For God sake don't hate us now. And don't call us Indian. It hurts a lot.

Majority of Urdu speakers have already rejected Altaf, thanks to pak Army. Plz join hands with us, we need you & may be you need us as well.

Promote merit only rather then Quota system, eradicate Dual Domicile in sindh, Discourage nepotism, corruption & kleptocracy.

We want to participate for Pakistan prosperity and we can do it together.

Kindly make one nation only which is Pakistani and not Sindhi, pashto, bloch, panjabi.. Do not promote the cause of division by promoting ethnicity. Just be a Pakistani.

We want patriotic Pakistanis to rule and guide us.

My family also migrated from turkey to subcontinent and then after independence migrated to Karachi.
I agree with you that there is no mohajir(migrants) after 70 years, you can also easily find out sumro(Sindhi), Jaan(baloch), baig(panjabi), khan(pathan) in Urdu speaking community those migrated from different areas of subcontinent. Urdu speakers should be called urduish now rather then mohajir.

It does not matter for me to call my self either Sindhi or Urdu speaker I would like to call my self only Pakistani. Those are living in sindh they all are geographically sindhi including pashtu, panjabi people. And I am geographically a dutch now, but my soul is pakistani.

Implement & impose these conditions for panjabi, pathan as well those are living in sindh that they are geographically Sindhi too.

panjabi, pathan should speak sindhi in sindh as you suggested to us (Urdu speaker). But for this you have to finish Urdu as a National language. Which you can do it because you people never followed the instruction of Founder Mohammad Ali Jinnah who wanted presidential system. So you can easily exclude Urdu as national language. Go ahead.

Don't hesitate, you have 18 amendment Now (future biggest curse for Pakistan to divide on ethnic lines).

And now enough is enough we can't tolerate PPP Now.

father is a police officer and he took part in that karachi operation of 1992 and he told us how they kept their boots on for weeks and slept in police stations and barracks only allowed to move in groups and after evening MQM fighters appear on streets with mounted machine guns on 4x4 and he was also part of the operation against the coup of 1998 and tried to secure the airport but they failed and were later arrested by the army and shifted to the malir cantt garrison were now I work. It was a funny story

The problem is that if we are sindhi why have two separate systems of quota for sindhis in urban sindh and rural sindh? If they are ready to abolish it there would be no difference between any of us.
Was there any prominent slogans or tehreeks of muhajir before 1970s ? No, even someone referred to us it was only Karachiwalay.
The problem is that you guys think that you know everything about every specific region of Pakistan but you dont, we live here we are suffering from these types of decisions in past and you guys we are some racist hate mongers always crying for rights.
Try some in depth research in issues if you have time and reach every sides opinion before passing out any particular judgment. By reading some editorial or watching a video doesnt gives you full story, being there matters.
Sindh is a mess right now, it has more deep and serious national issues which needs to be solved specially the past 11 years of ruling party from rural sindh which we dont support nor ever will but we have faith Imran Khan that he can change things and ponder on these crisis specially law & order, health and infrastrucutre of all Sindh.
