How Japan’s Bullet Trains Changed Travel

Today high-speed trains are comparable to air travel in price and door-to-door speed for shorter journeys. But decades ago locomotives faced fierce competition from air planes and private cars. Then came Japan’s bullet trains.

We should look hyperloop technology. Bullet train are becoming irrelevant in near future.

For us that near future is still 40 to 50 years away and even then bullet trains won’t be obsolete. Hyperloop technology is expensive and most countries won’t invest in it.
Let’s us invest in railways, build and maintain a simple train before going for bullet train. Pakistan should work with Kawasaki to build metroRail for inner city and work with China for in between cities.
