Zia ul Haq dead in year 1988 and and it is more then 28 years and if we didn't correct Zia's problem according to you then we don't have right to rule this country. Pakistan must be in stop talking and start working mode. All this bloody politicians are not capable to manage Pakistan and only thing they are best is pointing figure on others.

I think so. Most of the initiatives B. Bhutto wanted were thwarted by the establishment Zia left behind. And she herself took an active role in furthering Pakistan's missile program by calling in favors from the North Korean leadership. She wrote that she did it under the shadow of the military's terror - remember she was caged in the desert for months at one point - but I do have to wonder if that was just a self-serving excuse. I would disagree with you on that---. It was due to pakistanis own fck ups that these 70000 people died---.
For 13 years pakistanis claimed that a " muslim cannot do that "---they are our brother---" they cannot do this ".

The blame is purely and squarely on pakistanis.

It was pakistanis who back stabbed pakistan----and not Musharraf---the moment you found out that a massive christian army was planning to head your way---you should have cut off your allegiances with all the groups.

zia's "Islamization" focused mainly on social values. It didn't do much to change the political and military cultures that were already present.

Keep in mind that if Zia was truly a religious hardliner he would've supported Iraq to some extent in the Iran Iraq war because of Saudi pressure or whatever. That did not happen at all.

Frankly if incidents like the Lal Masjid siege or similar anti-state acts of terror had occurred in Zia's time than Zia Ul Haq would have slapped them off just like any other secular-leaning leader.

His biggest mistake was setting up Nawaz's political career.

But i disagree with heading cuz he never fooled americans.. mostly european and specially american knew about our prepration but they chose to stay quite.. cuz of their bugger intrest to defeat USSR..
