How does Israel justify Aliyah to the rest of the world?

Just one question: I am not sure what Aliyah is (don't care really) but why would "world" care about it? Is world euphemism for Muslim countries here?

No I am talking about the world here. Systematic cultural genocide perpetrated should be addressed by everybody be it in Tibet, in Iraq, in Afghanistan or in Israel.

Should only Muslim countries be bothered about muslims?I am a human. My concerns are about the well being of other humans.

When are you opening the thread for Tibet? I will truly appreciate it. I would like to contribute to that.

Well for one, you don`t have to be born a Jew to make Aliyah. If you convert and practice Judaism for one year at least, you can make Aliyah.
People who have Jewish relatives can also make Aliyah(I would know as there are so many Christians living here with Jewish relatives that serve the IDF).
Jews come to Israel for many reasons for example:
1.Israel is a developed country and has a much better economy than most.
2.Israel is the only place Jews can truly be Jews without feeling out of place or discriminated against, even if you don`t feel out of place you just want to be with people from your own race and religion.
3.There`s also Zionism that people want to contribute to the only Jewish country in the world and help make it stronger.
4.They want to have the ability to live in Israel and their country of residence.

Point being, there are many reasons but in the end, Israel is the shield and sword that protects Jews worldwide and it`s there to make sure "Never again" isn`t just a phrase written on an Atomic Bomb.

Don't mind them mate. It is perfectly justified to have half a century Islamic countries by constitution (including those that were not originally Islamic historically) but to have a country of any other religion (organized or philosophical) is considered as a breach of human rights and freedoms. A few years ago, our neighbor (Bhutan) was alleged for the same thing because it doesn't allow organized religion to be preached and practised in their territory. Bhutan is a Buddhist country.

Perhaps when he is done with Israel... If he has time.
Anyway my suggestion is to let this guy believe what he likes, his mind cannot fathom the reasons that so many times have been written here.

Yeah i gave up trying to reason with this guy, i`m looking to the Tibet topic he is apparently going to open to ask Chinese why this and why that.

Shortly, after I am done with my research - you do not find too much Arab Israelis or Tibetan lives online :/

Whatever I have posted has neutral references. The discussion and conclusions reached on this forum are open to everybody to see.

I tried to be as objective as possible and tried to provide reasoning wherever possible.

If you had read half my posts, you would know that I am not against the Jewish state. I am against the state sponsored policy of Aliyah.

My stand is clear - trolls take advantage of emotions and try to divert attention from what I have worked hard to focus on. Please read through the discussion with an open mind and do see if I have not provided unbiased arguments for the same.

This question is to my Israeli folks in the forum. To me Aliyah comes across a political Zionist agenda which clearly looks at increasing the population of "true Jews" in Israel.

Whether you like it or not, the book of Deutoronomy had a lot of contradictory stuff and if you are unbiased you should know that basing any judgment on such an old book without applying humanitarian thoughts is principally and morally wrong. I find some Jews equating Palestinians to Amelakites which is sadly disgusting as the Deutoronomy calls on to everyone to eliminate out of pure political agenda.

Before I state facts as to why Aliyah happens from an individual motive (the state motive of increasing Jewish population is very clear)

The Red circles represent where there is still small but prevalent presence of anti semitism. But if you really see, this along with the black circles are ones where Countries are doing badly economically (my mspaint fail :/)

So individual motivation (along with the prevalent notion of importance of Israel to Jews) is to have a better life in Israel economically - in a country which is progressing in all fields, especially science.

Now, this is where the contradiction comes - the State of Israel calls itself a parliamentary republic and as a "Jewish State" which is democratic. Slightly over 20% are Arabs who are Muslims. Jewish world population in Israel is 42% (which has increased considerably over the decades thanks to aliyah)

Now, if Israel is trying to bring back and reform the nation supposedly it was 3000 years ago (when borders were not clear, whether god was El or Yahweh was not clear - borders of Canaan are probably within Israel now) - would it not make sense to offer all its seeming notion of 13 tribes (assuming nobody converted, nobody intermarried), not just ones who are Jews? And how do you confirm it , genetically o_O?

Also the clearly Zionist agenda of increasing Israeli population sidelining the minority population gives more impression of increasing inequality in the theist republic.

Here's a list of world population of Jews

You will note that most Jews are settled in "non enemy states" (aka non Muslim states except may be Turkey and some parts of Eastern Europe). So how is Aliyah justified? Especially in today's modern age which is (especially the West) liberalist and tending towards secularism.

LOL, Armenia is Jew free.:D:D

Is Jewish a bloodline? Or is a jew an adherent of a confessional group? Is there a ethnicity "Jew"?

From the website created by Jews themselves:
Judaism 101: What Is Judaism?

Jews are not a race. They believe that they are one family though - an adherent of a confessional group in your terms.

If you are part of this family you are invited to Israel. My problem is that the minorities are not a part of this family in real terms.

All animals are equal, only some are more equal than the others ( Animal Farm, George Orwell )

All animals are equal? Last time i checked there are predators and there are prey.

And if you check your own site you`d know this:
The original name for the people we now call Jews was Hebrews. The word "Hebrew" (in Hebrew, "Ivri") is first used in the Torah to describe Abraham (Gen. 14:13).
The word "Jew" (in Hebrew, "Yehudi") is derived from the name Judah, which was the name of one of Jacob's twelve sons.
Hebrews are a race and Judaism is the religion.

a. Read some more. The quote is from Animal Farm - the context would have been understood better , if you had read one of the world's most popular novels.

b. Read some more. This is from the same site.

But setting aside the emotional issues, Jews are clearly not a race.

Race is a genetic distinction, and refers to people with shared ancestry and shared genetic traits. You can't change your race; it's in your DNA. I could never become black or Asian no matter how much I might want to.

Common ancestry is not required to be a Jew. Many Jews worldwide share common ancestry, as shown by genetic research; however, you can be a Jew without sharing this common ancestry , for example, by converting. Thus, although I could never become black or Asian, blacks and Asians have become Jews (Sammy Davis Jr. and Connie Chung).

c. Don't read selectively - read fully and with an open mind. The Torah is filled with historical errors - most of it is disputable.

PS: Hebrew is not from the Genesis.
Hebrew - Ebreu, from L. Hebraeus, from Gk. Hebraios, from Aramaic 'ebhrai, corresponding to Heb. 'ibhri "an Israelite," lit. "one from the other side," in reference to the River Euphrates, or perhaps simply signifying "immigrant;" from 'ebher "region on the other or opposite side
