How do you control your negative emotion

oh yes.he is a great speaker.I think everyone should attend at least one lecture, it really boosts our confidence.
I remember attending one such class, and after attending the lecture i was like this..

We all feel negative emotions(sadness, anger, stress, fear, despair, loneliness, frustration etc) at some point of our life. We may be having an altogether wonderful day when unexpectedly, negative thoughts cloud our happy mood. I want to know how you guys overcome these negative emotions ? What do you do when you feel down or depressed? How do you release your frustration?

Emotions are something that possess the power to completely alter our outlook on life from the positive to the negative. So many people take theirs own life due to their own or other people's negative outlook of them and it destroys them.What people need to learn , we only get one life and we need to preserve our emotions for better outcomes not for negative ones.

These problems are faced very often by students and young , working professionals . Now most of those you ask around you would recommend a wild , vodka party ,a packet of cigarettes, a full blaring music system and a lobby at home turned disco ( never mind the angry neighbours ;) ).....

But in my personal opinion - the healthiest thing ( and a really effective one ) to do would be to pick up a pastime( something you are captivated by ) , can be anything from a musical instrument , to joining a yoga / mixed martial arts class , to filling in blogs on the net , to a game of table tennis or chess .This would take your mind of things for a while . Then when your down in the dumps you can always pick up a guitar , or a racquet for a while.The idea is to switch thoughts to something that makes you happy for the instant.
Since life is one racing train and these days no one has unlimited leisure time to contemplate the miseries ... sooner or later they get busy....:)

Definition of Optimism in today's times.... CHEER UP! THE WORST IS YET TO COME....... :D

On a serious note I think this one liner will help:
'Life's not about waiting for storms to pass, it's about learning how to dance in the rain.......'

for me the best motivational speaker is the dean of our college. even though he is so mean but when it comes to motivating students, he is a pro.
