How do you control your negative emotion

We all feel negative emotions(sadness, anger, stress, fear, despair, loneliness, frustration etc) at some point of our life. We may be having an altogether wonderful day when unexpectedly, negative thoughts cloud our happy mood. I want to know how you guys overcome these negative emotions ? What do you do when you feel down or depressed? How do you release your frustration?

Emotions are something that possess the power to completely alter our outlook on life from the positive to the negative. So many people take theirs own life due to their own or other people's negative outlook of them and it destroys them.What people need to learn , we only get one life and we need to preserve our emotions for better outcomes not for negative ones.

[/COLOR]see, anger is impulsive. controling anger is pretty much easy. whenever u r anger is getting out of control just count from 10 to 1. too much anger isn't good for health.


And yeah.. for controling emotions,negativity, frustration, depression , managing stress etc. etc. etc. YOGA is a boon.

How do I control my negative emotion?

Well, I log in on PDF, look a few posts by a few Pakistanis and say to myself, "Bah! What the heck, worse is around and aplenty."

And then I log off...

i prefer going out with friends and do some shopping. it always turns on my mood. talking to your loved ones, movies, music, dancing, spending time with friends or family etc. it all helps. and yeah visiting mandir or masjid always provide peace of mind.

what??????????????/ shopping ? it make my mode more off as i believe in money and money is god .i dont like to waste the god .

I try work on things I need to finish so I can take my mind off of things. if all else fails, working on my car works most of the time.

We earn money to spend it.. right?? my philosophy is even if u earn 1rs. save 25paise and spend the rest 75. afterall you have got only one life.

I think the most important thing is self-belief and confidence on ourself. Yes everyone goes through such a phase when we are really low on confidence, and i think in such a time your most important friend is a pen and paper.
sit down with pen and paper. write down what you want to to achieve, what are your limitations, and what are your strengths.
Speak with yourself, motivate yourself.
This is what I do with myself. And it works for me.

Also you can attend some motivational speaker's classes, that really helps you a lot. And would definitely give you a boost in your confidence and program your attitude.
Or you can play video games and flirt around with hot chics.
