How Do the F22P frigates compare to the Type 022 Fast Attack boats ?

F22P price is 185 million? It is a bit expensive.
I think PN should buy type 056 to replace F22P.

the 056 wasn't even a rumor when the f22p's were ordered, currently we have no solid proof that any 056 is built or being built though one would expect a few to pop out some point soon.

Reloads are possibly/probably carried. Howeveer, there doesn't appear to be a reloading assist device (either visible or below deck or in the superstructure) i.e. any additional rounds on board would have to be manhandled by the crew.

No, I would have preferred that PN to have JV on the design with Chinese, Like:
3400-4100 Tons with 2 X 32 Cell VLS Launchers : Frigate
1600-2100 Tons with 2 X 16 Cell VLS Launchers : Corvette
0500-0700 Tons with 1 X 16 Cell VLS Launchers : FAC

Ok i have one question?? As some poster pointed out that PN fast attack missile boats dont have or cannot carry powerful radars but they can overcome this problem by datalink from AWACS or integrated warfare.So does that mean that PN pretty much negates the advantage which IN is having??

Also How much distance from the shores of Pakistanwill datalink with AWCS will work??

F22p is in very good position as compared to the Type 022 for type 022 we have bought azmat class missile boats. F22p's only draw back is its sam system cause today almost all beyond 1000+ ton corvettes or frigates have atleast 16 cell sam while f22p's have only 8. Apart from it is completely a dangerous ship it has excellent anti submarine warfare (the torpedoes and anti submarine rockets), Anti ship role it has dual purpose I think worlds fastes Rate of fire cannon of bore of 76mm which can hit low flying aircraft too further for anti ship is 8 cell C802 Anti ship missiles.Than comes the Anti submarine heli z9c and in the end which by far I think is the most important defense system for ship CIWS which f22p has 2 equipped. Except Sam the f22p has same number of weapons as shivalik class making it as bit as capable as shivalik class destroyer or heavy frigate with displacement of 6200 ton full load. Its just that at the time of 2005 there was no better option for sam thankGod atleast 2 ciws and 8 cell sam is equipped. Furthermore there are claims that last the 4th pns aslat is better than first 3 f22p frigates.

Comparing with corvette is biased cause corvettes dont have full balance of sam, anti sub , ashm , ciws , cannon and hangar which a multirole frigate has.
