Again I'm advising to pti media cell and it's paid anchors stop defaming Pak Army, it will haunt them for years.
Nothing happens to Army's creditably and if someone trying to do it they are same level of Indian and northern afghanis PERIOD.

I am not a PTI supporter still i firmly believe that ARMY have all the evidence against Maryam, and as far as 35 punctures are concerned, trust me in any civilized country the SC wouldn't have dared call 2013 rigging as electon irregularities and dismiss the case, it only happens in Pakistan.

Remember the day before DGISPR press conference? A meeting held by PM team and COAS with DG ISI and before that corps commanders meeting? It's not a person's decision its decision of Army.

You are right ...killling in model town does not impact them since it was not related to Army ..
You will see now they wants to release to KY after much created hype and manovering the case in the context of ICJ that we have to follow international norms ...Army knows the meeting between Jandal and NZ so it implies the Army is now using NZ to get face saving for KY..
Have you read in today newspaper minister of information said NZ took Bajwa in confidence before meeting ..
And now they are trying to create rumors that this was some secret meeting to gain there credibility
Army and NZ both goes hand in hand and makes the fool of masses by showing fake discord between them..

Have one more question.... There was a tweet by DG ISPR fefw days ago, where he said tht army institiutions through their nominees in Panama JIT will play a fair and transparent role... So when is he taking tht tweet back??

DG IsI is the relative of Maryam nawaz and the people nominated from ISI and MI are the same as nominated in so called dawn leaks ..you can imagine the result

It's good to see that government servants are finally being put in their right place. How on Earth can a military defy the head of the sate.

In a mature democracy, both COAS and DG ISPR would have been fired. Anyways, one day we will also witness generals being fired from their jobs. It will take time but it will eventually happen.

Social media was on fire for the last two days and it has been so satisfying to see fan boys getting triggered and abusive towards their beloved Army.

This forum also witnessed a change. Now you can abuse the military and the mods will not blink an eye. I hope this was not a special army-bashing deal but a permanent change.

I have been banned many a times for criticising the Army but in the last two days, double standards of mods clearly came into light.

Firstly, let me point out that both the WWII-era Soviet Military and the Wehrmacht were heavily represented in the political spheres, in fact their presence in social life was to the point of being pervasive.

That being said, let me move to the actual point I want to address. The marginal success of military Ops during Musharraf's era were not due to the fact that Musharraf was the president and removing him magically made them fight better. There were a number of reasons, some of which I shall note briefly.

1. The operations were limited in their objectives. The PA was not looking to establish complete control, they were looking to expunge foreign fighters. The TTP had not yet been formed and so local fighters were seen as misled tribal youth that would just go back to normal life if the foreign influence was removed.

2. The PA was still very much a conventional force then, they tried to fight a low intensity conflict utilizing the techniques that were developed to be utilized against a professional military. Classic mistake that all militaries new to LIC make, the Russians in Afghanistan and Chechnya, the Americans in Vietnam and Afghanistan, the French in Vietnam and Algeria, the Italians in Libya.

3. The operations did not enjoy public or administrative support. The MMA Govt in KPK was very openly hostile to the PA and facilitated the extrication of fighters from SWA. The public also condemned it as a military campaign against "our muslim brothers". Resultantly, the operations were wound up as quickly as possible as soon as some basic objectives were met, there was no greater plan to consolidate gains.
