HOW CAN PAKISTAN GET RID OF THE HEINOUS CRIME OF "BHATTA" COLLECTION

Human societies are very dynamic, new crimes keep surfacing from time to time. to counter thiese crimes and criminals civilized societies choose representatives and send them to parliments, whose biggest responsibilites is to keep abreast of all new emerging challenges and make new laws to meet them.

Unfortunately in Pakistan, our parliments and politicians are least inclined to fulfil this basic responsibility and have failed to formulate/pass new laws to counter new emerging crimes/challenges to the society. The best way to curb crimes is to obseve which crimes are rampant in the society or which criminal trends have to potential to becime nuisance for the society and pass strict punishments for them.

Over the years we have seen mobile phone snatching to start from a few incidents per month to thousnads per day accross Pakistan, but the law makers are still asleep. Had they come up with the death penalty for the crime 10 years ago, this would have helped in controlling this crime which has causedso many innocent citezens to lose their lives.

Same is the case with Bhatta, any crime which is easy to commit and get away with has a potential to spread like a contagious disease. Make laws with strict penalties and implement them with sincerety and honesty and crimes will go down.

Highest responsibility to monitor and come up with appropriate laws and counter measures falls on interior ministry, but unfortunately if we will have incompetent persons apponted there with other agenda to follow instead of ensuring public saftey, then it's upto the victim to take measures collectively..
