Actually we are.

That's how our foreign policy has been historically designed. Our relations with USA or even Botswana has nothing to do with our relations with Russia or China or Albania.

Meaning, we will not fight either side's war, but we will support either side in their own interests IF they coincide with our own.

It is something that Middle East and its extended influence is not really used to.

Racism do exist in which people are being targeted in which the whole apparatus is aware . its one way or another way linked to the countries foreign relations. Human rights and constitutional rights are being easily took for granted and even in term cases even Security Adm is involved.

As for the attacks on Sikhs in United states , Have to check about how those Sikhs gone to United states in which period. International policy is changing and all this linked to that only.

I've noticed that many posters here tend to make their comments hastily and with their set of bias in mind.

This question is not about IF India can manage the relationships, rather if their partners are willing to put in the time and effort to gain India's trust.

The onus is on the US and Russia in this case. From the US perspective, and I can only speak to that, we have a lot of patience and desire to work with India. India is of important strategic value for the US and we are quite willing to put in the effort to gain its trust. This does not mean we will not have some hitches or pain points in the mutual relationship.

We also have no delusions about the U.S/India relationship nor do we seek an absolute relationship in this global environment. We want Russia to continue its relationship with India as it works in everyone's favor.

This guy is more "think tank" material then half the excited juveniles we have currently running around with their tin foil hats.

Really, then why so many westerners don't like Indians?? specially in Australia? and once again you forgot that India was not a power then now they want to be a power and assert their military capabilities in the region specially in Indian Ocean that will make many countries worry.
