I watched this programme a while back and didn’t see anything discussed about it on PDF (You might have seen it already) So I thought of putting it up in contrast to mostly Anti Israeli threads on PDF.

It’s the Israeli version of -"What would you do"? And in this scene explores the relationship between Arabs and Jews.

Hidden cameras are installed inside shops / stores, capturing the moments and surprises of everyday life. Actors dressed as Arabs will enter shops and ask to be served, however the shop keeper who is also an actor will be aggressive and refuse to serve the Arabs which will be recorded and then reactions by the other people will be noted who will be completely unaware of the fact that the scene is staged.

Peace

Never seen this show, but it`s kinda funny.
In the second video the big guy tells him "Listen motherf*cker, give her the coffee".

Since this is staged we do not know how many agreed with the store clerk. If they filmed 100 people and only 5 or 7 objected and those are the 7 situations they showed then it is pretty sickening.

Israelis do have a disdain for Arabs (probably true vice versa).

I find it very inappropriate. particularly when they bring their hate out with them from Israel and Palestine.

I've seen this show a few times in the US. Pretty interesting..

Yet another conspiracy theory?

I find Israel to be a very very hospitable place. The people are very nice and i felt right at home over there. I dont know why folks like to demonize Israel. If i weren't an Indian, i would prefer to be an Israeli. But that's just me.

:D

But what this programme shows that even Israelis are human beings and they will come to the aid of whoever no matter what their race, religion or colour is.

Compare this to anti-Israeli propaganda by some media who state that Israeli people hate Arabs.

they cut most of the parts where the people were siding with the shopkeeper

The only thing that is staged is the actors and hidden cameras in the shops nothing else.

You can watch the full programme on their website

whenever I listen to Hebrew it amazes me how close it is to Arabic. Learning Hebrew was soooo easy for me it was just maybe like changing an accent a little and then throw in some 25% different words.

On topic: Arabs are treated like crap in Israel.

. . .
Hate only brings out more hate. Only shocking part is Jews defending Arabs. Perhaps there is still some hope for future.

There is nothing shocking in that. People all over the world have similar values, aspirations and want to live in peace. The same Jews would similarly find sympathetic friends in the Arab world inspite of whatever you read or hear in the news.

I am talking of people as individuals. You take the same people and put them in a mob and you will see a whole different side to them.
