.
China has built more skyscrapers in the last decade than than United States has in 118 years. In 2018 alone, China built half of New York City.

How about public facilities like trains, subways and highways? Saying US infrastructure is crumbing is more about public facilities, not your private house.

. . . . .
It's because China's manufacturing capability is larger than he US'. China used more cement in the last 3 years than the US did throughout the 20th century.

Yes, because their homes and highspeed rail use mostly cement while ours don't.

I could say how come China doesn't have as many swimming pools or lawnmowers as the US.

What does that have to do with the number of skyscrapers?
What does it have anything to do with skyscrapers? Skyscrapers are not residential buildings.

Since a large percentage of white collar workers have moved to the suburbs there is no value anymore of building tall skyscrapers in big cities. Now it is suburban office parks.

I've never been to China but I've been to US.

New York's subway is falling apart and smells of piss all the time. Istanbul metro is better than NYC subway.
