How 0.5kg milk makes 10kg in India

Trust me , this is hardly a matter of concern. At least water mixed with milk won't kill you. The real problem comes during major festivals like Diwali and Eid when sweets are made. That's when they sell "milk powder" and "milk" which is made up of detergent. Yes, artificial plastic milk , and it tastes just like real milk. That's why I avoid eating Indian sweets during the time of major festivals and stick to things like chocolate cake , eclairs etc, it's hard to mess those up. Think I'm joking? Here

yeah, I remember seeing this one.

was talking about urea which I remember seeing a tv report about delhi.
and then there is infamous chinese case that left 6 kids dead and nearly 58k people hospitalized.

Oh, if it happens in India, no one would notice those small incidences in India. :D

You know what the Chinese solution is? If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Common sense man. If milk cost as much as water, maybe, it's not the authentic thing in the world.

Shameful. Laws should be assed in South Asian Countries to shoot such culprits who are playing with the life of Public.

I could not watch the video.
Few things we need to know. Adulteration of milk is done in many ways. None of them must not be allowed IF POSSIBLE

  1. Diluting milk with water - No harm to any one - Practiced in most part of the world
  2. Removing cream and adding water - no harm to people -- Practiced in most part of the world
  3. Removing cream and adding starch (corn floor) to make it look thick - No harm to people but I'd never prefer to buy it -- Practiced in most part of the world
  4. Removing cream adding starch, vegetable oils and emulsifying agents - it has some milk and usually no harmful substance - I'd not buy it. PS: most of non dairy creamers falls in to this category and we do buy them a lot -- Done in most part of the world
  5. Little milk, with urea, detergent, oil etc ... it's crude way of producing a which may be harmful. IT MUST not be allowed at all including ban on multinationals selling as non dairy creamer.. - Done in most part of the world specially in developing countries

Cheaters are found everywhere in the world, even Europe, look at this fake prime meat using meat glue

I was once speaking to a guy from Habib Oil Mills and he was telling me that once they have refined the canola / mustard seeds three four times and the gunk left is of no use, it is sold to some milk producer by the tanker load! He didn't know which one (milk producer) :hitwall:

I've an idea about it :disagree:

:bad: :bad:

Solution is make selling unbranded milk illegal. And if a brand is selling adulterated milk remove their licence and fine them/put them in jail.

Easy and simple but unfortunately couldn't done. I've more simple idea buy your own animal.
