Houthi rebels stop Pakistani convoy from fleeing conflict in Yemen

And only then Pakistan can take part in the operation once the civilians are out. And Saudi Arabia should do that atleast for Pakistan.

Doesnt matter anymore; the Houthis have allowed the convoy to leave.

Update
Pakistani convoy allowed to leave Sanaa checkpost
A Pakistani convoy was allowed to leave Sanaa, hours after it was stopped at check-post attempting to flee the conflict in Yemen, Express News reported on Saturday.

The convoy, consisting of 15 buses, had left Sanaa for Hudaidah.

According to unofficial estimates, 560 Pakistanis are stranded in the besieged Yemeni capital of Sanaa. Pakistan’s foreign ministry officials say around 2,145 Pakistanis are currently living in Yemen.

Earlier, a Pakistan International Airlines spokesperson said an aircraft will depart to Yemen on Sunday to evacuate stranded Pakistanis in the war-torn country.

So this means Pakistan will not intervene. I believe, Houthis have played a game by isolating the arabs from Pakistani support. :)

Why should we? What influence KSA have over Yemeni militants, holding up Pakistanis?
If sense prevails, Yemeni militants would not like to invite Pakistan drones.

Our hands are full, but we can send few drones to hit the terrorists in Yemen or else where.
We have helped, Srilanka, US... why not to a most friendly state?

The situation in ME is more complicated and also will have far reaching consequence in future. You can not compare Srilanka situation with ME.There is no immediate threat from Yemen to KSA any way. So it is better for us to remain neutral. We can be a negotiator but no boots on ground.

Strategic decisions of supporting arab or being neutral are not changed due to a single incident. It doesn't effect anything.

Of course one incident does not affect. But basically when you are in a state to take a decision and something positive comes out favouring the decision to be taken, then it is a go.

Pakistani support....is it really matters.

Houthis are not even caring about Saudis with all there fancy equipments ...is Pakistani support really matter to them.

Pakistani support....is it really matters.

yes, because Pakistan is a nuclear power. And KSA has invested more than 40% in Pakistan's Nuclear programs in during the initial development.

Seriously...are you guys for real?

The only reason the Houthis are beginning to show hostilities (not yet full fledged) is because the PM and the rest of the political leadership is jumping on the bandwagon against them.

How retarded do you have to be to actually believe that you will go against any entity whatsoever and then simultaneously expect that entity to remain respectful towards you?

Sorry to say but the majority of the nation is like a snake...but without all that intelligence, rationale or pragmatism. They're well on their path to repeat the same mistake they did in Afghanistan...which was supporting the Taliban and in process making enemies out of the Uzbeks, Tajiks etc....and then crying foul that "poor us...mazloom/innocent Pakistanis" !!

He is BSing. The distress calls from people still stranded in various cities is being played on media.
Well we can't trust the media also nowdays with their TRP rating race they will have people believe anything.I for one would go with the official version.
Plus if a person is really in the need he would call the embassy rather then a TV channel.
