Hospital tags Bihar earthquake injured with 'bhukamp' stickers on forehead

Fever,Diarrhea are common ailments and there is no need to rush to tag them unless there is a Cholera Outbreak.
Tagging is part of protocol in Epidemics and quarantine and also used in Natural disasters to seperate, Critical Patients from minor injuries patients.
Embarrassing or not Classification of patients is not based on Political correctness but based on shrewd and working models. Are you worried about saving the Patient or worried about being Politically correct in a Natural Disaster.
Medicine teaches you to Amputate a body parts in order to save the patient. You think Political correctness then matters in critical situations?

Already i said Bharat has the worst Doctor to Patient ration in normal days its 1:1750 in Disaster the doctor is overburdened and they improvize using the things they have in hand.We dont have tags or bar code readers like USA has in its hospitals. The doctors make do with what they have and the resources provided to them.

I don't say India is pinnacle in healthcare but you don't need tag like this, many option are available which are more civic.

Arre bhat, what options, in surgery Sterile gloves are cut in a way to act as drain tubes in wound dressing. We don't have( cant afford) special drain tubes for wounds like America does nor can it be affordable by Govt.Hospitals.
So what are these "many options are available which are more civic" that you mention of? care to explain them?
We don't have adequate resources no gauze sometimes for wound dressing and you are talking of a trivial issue being politically correct, I am sorry to say it doesn't happen like that in Govt. Hospitals in rural areas.
You are expecting Corporate Hospital care in a Government Hospital, not gonna happen.

This is different to differentiate between Earthquake victim and normal patients.
The doctor improvized. What is wrong in that, his intention was to tag patients where visual confirmation was easy, dont make a mountain out of a mole hill, this routinely happens in rural areas, lack of infrastructure and supplies make people improvize with what they have in hand in such situations.

I know that stuff, but when you have a horde of patients rushing in during disaster you dont have time to register and allot unique nos.
