In a society which proclaims to truly adhere by the principles of freedom of expression one can say whatever he/she likes. That includes denying the Holocaust. Whether that is historically correct/incorrect should not matter and is an entirely different matter anyway. Your country has selective freedom of expression. In your country, you can say something to offend millions of people and are even encouraged to do so. Yet, when you say something that hurts your own feelings, you change the narrative by calling it "facts". Double standards.

On topic, people who think that the US government controls Hollywood are missing the point.

Most people seem to think there are only two options:
A- Authoritarian: government controls people.
B- Democratic: people control government

In reality, there is a third option which is far more prevalent in most so-called democracies:
C- Oligarchy: powerful interest groups control both the government and the people (and the media).
