Hockey: India, Pakistan in same pool

New Delhi: India are placed in tough Pool'B' along with arch rival Pakistan and Malaysia in the men's hockey competition in the Commonwealth Games to be held in Melbourne from March 15 to 26 next year.
In the women's section, defending champion India are placed in Pool'A' along with Australia.
Following are the groupings: Men: Pool'A': New Zealand, Australia, New Zealand, England, Canada and Scotland Pool 'B': India, Pakistan, Malaysia, South Africa and Trinidad & Tobago Women: Pool'A': India, Australia, Malaysia, South Africa and Nigeria Pool'B': New Zealand, England, Scotland, Canada and Barbados The elimination rounds of both men's and women's competition will be played on March 23-26.
