You're confusing me with other posters.You guys angrily cry all the time about 100 years of humiliation by other nations...don't you think it might be possible that you just bring it upon yourselves simply by inaction? Maybe that really could have been only 5 years of humiliation but you let it go to 100.
I never complained about the 100 years of humiliation. The past is the past.
I'm only interested in current events, technology, and the future.
China's strategic actions have to make sense. Reclaiming Taiwan now by force is illogical. I don't see it happening in the near future. The liabilities outweigh regaining the island now.

Here's the fundamental problem.
China retakes Taiwan by military force. What's the next step?
The US Navy is going to harass Chinese shipping. What is China going to do to stop that? It can't at the moment.
In 20 to 30 years, the Chinese Navy probably could stop the US Navy on all of the world's oceans. Thus, China should wait 20 to 30 years. This is elementary logic.
