You really are coming across as a bit of an obsessive type now. The use of and impact of the word p@ki depend on its intonation and context. There is no need to be feigning ignorance about that. If you live in UK like I do, you would jolly well know that already. You began your thread with generalised misconceptions about Pakistanis, which folks pushed back against. Then you got defensive and used the p word liberally.
Now for the record, I and many here actually AGREE with the underlying point that Pakistanis should be proud of their Indus Valley heritage and/or identity, regardless of their precise DNA. That is who we are. I still don't fully get your point because at times you seem to suggest the same but you also argue with everyone who disagrees with either all or parts of your discourse.
Obviously you're well travelled and knowledgeable, yet by not being willing to listen to anyone who disagrees, and moreover by resorting quickly to a slur that you well know has a rich legacy in Pakistani history, you're just coming across as the kind of individual who uses the "Pakistanis are unsure about their identity" as an offensive trope (which I discussed in my last post), rather than methodically provoking debate and discussion.
In short, you're either a troll or you're not. It's STILL not clear after all these pages, especially since many much politer posters than me have respectfully suggested you stop the p word usage and many posters who are far more clued up than you or me on anthropology and history are summarily dismissed by you.
Just my observations on why this thread has deteriorated.
Thank the blue sky above that it is not due to the national security hazard, the Yahood-Hanood conspiracy, and their collusive agents masquerading about this sweet, innocent, virginal forum. I must count my blessings.
