Iqbal, quaid and sir syed worked with british for welfare of local people and they got no properties in return.

Excellent take on this issue, working with British to help your community to get adequate rights under British empire vs working for the British against the interests of your own community for purely personal gains in the form of land allocations and other kinds of government awarded perks and privileges in your local area.

So since when did British empire cared about welfare of the people of its colony? You mean the time when they enslaved millions of people and shipped them across the world in south africa, caribbean islands etc or when they massacred anybody who raised against British imperialism or when they plundered and looted rich dynamic society (the leadership was weak of that time however the people were very progressive of its time) and turned it into a poor beggars society? or when they caused famine resulting in millions of death?
British empire is nothing like other empires in the past who came in and left. This empire actually planned a strategic retreat 50-80 years before giving independence to its colony.
They made careful selections of locals who were loyal to the empire and gave them important positions that would serve their interest.
NONE of the people you mentioned spoke against British empire like I have done without even putting much effort. All they did was a "REQUEST" while meeting imperialists terms and conditions because they were all working for them.
Even though British empire is gone but their corrupt system lives on.

You are mixing a lot of things. Agreed Britain planned much earlier at end of first of world war to leave India. However, there was no plan to divide and give muslims a separate state.

The people you are talking about created the awareness of separate nation. Allama Iqbal, was the first to realize that in the democratic world it will just be change of masters and Hindus have hold of bureaucracy and economy will keep muslims enslaved gave the idea of a separate nation.

Quaid-e-azam fought the election and convince the local population to vote for muslim league so that they can represents muslims in negotiating the independence plan.

Furthermore, Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal didnt work for britain. They worked for Pakistan mulsim league who won election in 1946 from muslim majority areas and hence represented those areas. As per democratic standards of Britain that had to incorporate demand of the leaders of the areas where muslim league won.
