I highly dbt if any reconversions are happening in Tg..
I have no clue of what's happening in seemandhra, the last I crossed tg border in to seemandhra was 3 yrs ago... though hindu right is growing in the state and i can see many new temples being built/ old tempes getting renovated, very ltl is being done on ground by hindu groups when we look at the damage done to the state. I feel that hindu groups emphasis is more on trying to retain the existing hindus and pushing them(hindus) to be more involved in there religious activities than trying to get back those who got converted.
problem with TG and AP is evangelists have got themselves involved in every sphere of our life... from politics to tollywood they are spread there wings all along.. of late u could see a lot of reference to christianity in every telugu film, which was not the norm a decade ago...
look at this bastard raja speaking ill about pavan kalyan.
he is among one of the top evangelists in the state today, i see his posters everyday on my way to clg near shamshabad calling for harvesting souls.. TBH evangelism is a mafia and a business in our state, all the top most evangelists are interconnected to each other this raja is relative of an ex-dcp of undivided A.P, and they emassed huge amounts of wealth from converting people.. there used to be a FB group "Ban christian missionaries" where the admin used to expose these missionaries and evangelists. one of the relative of raja and ex-dcp threatened the admin and active users to get us arrested, put in jail, and spoil our futures.
the group was then deleted by the admin as he was from a middle class family and didn't want to get in to trouble..
It requires time and humongous effort to uproot these anti-nationals..
Anyway, unlike seemandhra majority hindu population of Tg is hindu by heart, though it may take time, they will surely arise and correct all those evangelists and soul harvesters in a language that they understand best, I can't say the same abt seemandhra...
