Hindus join Muslims in Kerala for beef party to protest Dadri lynching

I wasn't referring to Kashmir but even there, it was not any new law but one that is been around even before the accession. The High Court only said that the law exists & must be followed, the present situation is that the Supreme Court has stayed the implementation of the law following a request for its intervention.
The ruler was a racist hindu and his subjects were mostly muslim why should that law be even considered?

I have Kashmiri friends.

Those Pakistanis here claiming that beef is part of the Kashmiri diet are lying.

Beef does not enter the kitchens of Kashmiri Muslims. Even though some (a very few) may eat it outside. That is the reality.

What happened with the SC was politics. Not diet.

By the way eating beef is not a biggie in Kerala, I know RSS hard core cadres who eats beef.......and no one take it seriously......

The question here is less about beef eating & more about an attempt to openly provoke. These are the same chaps who accuse others of provoking communal outrage & then pretty much do the same thing. As pointed out, no one would do a "don't fast on Ramzan" festival, pork festival or even a cartoon drawing festival. These kinds of acts have an opposite effect than what many think, it will only serve to harden stands & create more resentment at such behaviour causing even moderate people who might not be buying into all this anti beef business into becoming more rigid because of the hypocrisy inherent in such acts.

That is for the state government to change it. All laws remain in existence (both India & Pakistan have laws dating to the colonial era) until changed.

Arent all pundits of kashmir vegetarian?

LOL NO !!!!

Some of us are ferocious meat eaters . Weak hearts like me and my Mother don't eat meat . My brother has gone ahead and tasted Prawns and Crabs . My friends family eat Roganjosh and Chicken 6 times a weak .:D

It was a crime that carried a capital punishment during the dogra raj thats why it exited kashmiri cuisines but now people have again started consuming beef as a sign of protest against india in the valley

I have friends from the valley and their narrative does not match with yours.

Maybe in Mirpur yes, under the influence of Punjabi Pakistani culture superimposed locally. After 70 years, and 3 generations, the inherent dislike might have weakened.

I am talking about Kashmir proper. Where its never been a part of their cuisine or diet.
