Hindus calling their dead hindu soldiers in Kashmir "shaheed" - Do you want to stop?

We have discussed this before but just wanted to tell Hindus from India to use something from Hinduism to describe your Hindu dead soldiers. "Shaheed" is the highest muslim religious designation offered to people who die in the path of Allah Subhan wa Taela fighting against non believers - a.k.a Hindus.

Unless you want to say you are living as Hindus and dying as Muslims (which means dead Hindus turn anti-polylithic Muslim), do not use "Shaheed" word for your dead Hindus who are killed in war.

When you do not have a word or a concept to describe your martyred, switch to another language - not another religon.

We are sorry for the death of Indian forces - and condemn their occupation and hope their lives are saved by removing them from the occupation of Kashmir. Which part of this statement does sound "cute" to you ?

Question here is use of word "Shaheed" which means being a witness to THE ONE (Allah) in with your most. Why would you use Muslim's medal of honour to describe your dead non-Muslim soldier?

"Shaheed" is an islamic word which is unique. Its like "Nishan-e-Haider" which Pakistanis offer to soldiers defending Pakistan. Do you want to give Nishan-e-Haider to Indian soldiers who die fighting against Pakistan?

The Shaheed will be witnesses on the day of judgment about their sacrifice for Allah. I suppose those who die for other than Allah will too be witnesses to their own deeds on that Day. So technically they could say their dead, too, are shaheed. Whether that is good for them or not is another matter.

they use Shaheed as in linguistic concept. Hindi derives heavily from Arabic also because of Urdu and well Muslim rule over india for thousands of years.

Shaheed is an Arabic Term from Quran. but indians speak Hindi language remember? so that's why they translate martyr into Shaheed. they don't think their soliders go to heaven. i think they think that they would be reborn as a butterfly or something

How can you generalise or legitimise its use for an anti-Islamic religion? On what basis? Specially for non-Muslims or anti-Muslim religion who are fighting and dying against Muslims?

for us Urdu . farsi and arabic speakers. but indians speak hindi. hindus or other groups they have no idea about what we are talking about. they just know shaheed and jihad from terrorist point of view.
