I don't follow the logic of BD members. If Hindus are predominantly AL supporters then why would they be attacked by AL. If they intimidate the people will they get the vote. Logic fail.
If it is a false flag operation by AL as you guys are claiming then are Hindus in BD stupid to be used like that again and again. Are there any Hindu BD member on PDF who can clarify because I don't believe any of explanations. 

Hindus are predominantly AL supporters but in recent times they are loosing their trust on AL due to its impotence.Now BD does not have quota systems to lure minority voters into one party.But if AL can show that the other party is hostile towards you(which it isn't) you will obviously vote for the safer party.The second news report posted also suggests it was AL local leaders who demanded money from the the father of the supposed facebook boy...the father happens to be a wealthy businessman who refused to pay any money and this was a way to get revenge.Also there was an attack on a buddhist monestary using the same facebook issue a couple of months back.But AL administration has failed to even find out who was responsible for those attacks.If these were BNP JAmaat people they would have been brought to custody and displayed infront of the media by now.This also gives you an idea what kind of politics AL is involved in.Another incident where AL student leaders killed Biswajit Das in open daylight infront of scores of photo and media journalists.All of the killers were identified by the media but the police did not file any cases against them rather reported the culprits were unknown.Do not think that India supports AL to protect BD's Hindus.India supports AL to protect its own interests which has very little to do with Hindus and Muslims or minorities and majorities.

Bangladesh should revere the Atheist bloggers who were killed by medieval minded bigots. the Indic culture should remain instead of enforcing Arab culture and religion. don't make Bangladesh look like it is geographically misplaced(A clone of Arab desert culture in eastern coast). it should be the way it was. there should be Cult rehabilitation centres for Razakars in every prominent towns and cities of Bangladesh. world cannot afford another slaves of Arabs in Indian subcontinent. since a lot of atheists and liberated people comes from Bangladesh starting from Taslima Nasreen to Ahmed Rajib Haider, I believe many Bangladeshis are sensible.

A few points here -

i. The PDF Jamaatis of BD are a desperate lot. Their leaders are in jail, their party banned - so anything to channel their hatred is welcome. Besides they don't represent Bangladeshis at all.

ii. This is not unexpected. In an overwhelming Muslim country there are things that you cannot do. Like being a non Muslim. Bangladesh is actually still an exception to this convention. But with the likes of people like the ones here, there is still hope.

iii. Hindus have come down from 25% in 1971 to 8% today. Looks like they sublime as well! Even after this, if their Hindus believe that they are safe - even God can't help them.

iv. In spite of all this - there is no 'Kill the Muslims in revenge' organization.

In another decade there will not be any Hindus left in BD. Either they all converted or jumped the fence. What we saw in Pakistan wrt their Hindu population is being repeated here in Bangladesh but at a slower pace.
