DERA MURAD JAMALI: A woman from the Hindu community was axed to death in the Baba Kot area of Nasirabad district on Wednesday.

Police said that unknown people attacked Zania Kumari in Goth Asif Ali Shah and escaped after the murder. The cause of the attack remains unclear.

Police registered a case against the killers.

Jalo Ram, Kumari’s brother, told reporters that his sister was killed for no reason by “influential people” of the area.

He appealed to the inspector general of police, Balochistan, and SSP, Nasirabad, to take action against the killers and provide security to his family.

Nasirabad/ jaffarabad is my home town from where I belong to and such cases against women are rampant there . I'm amazed that only this one got attention of government and media.
Government must take action in these areas as there's a lot hidden evil .

Why does it have to be the govt? Where are the decent God fearing people in that particular region...because as you put it...it is 'rampant there'.

This only got attention because she was minority. Otherwise, in these Baloch goths women are treated worse than cattle, especially by their feudals. I still cant forget the news of five women buried alive there. Balochistan needs to be picked clean of these 'influentials' and then dragged into the current century kicking and screaming.

The title should be "woman axed....." not "Hindu woman axed.....". These crimes against woman are common throughout the world, specially in subcontinent.
It may further be noted that these crimes are in fact in our notice, and our "patriot" civil society is after these crimes.

P.S These crimes are not committed only against Hindus in Pakistan, but against the women from all casts and religions. Its a matter of low enforcement rather than religious discrimination.

The justice system needs to be reformed. Its unfortunate that these kinds of things still happen. Nasirabad is very poor.

Frontier Corpse (FC) on has recovered 105 kg explosives, six improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and other weapons during operation today in Balochistan’s Nasirabad district.

According to details, FC and intelligence agencies conducted a raid at militant hideout and confiscated arms along with explosives. No arrests could be made as the militants escaped from the scene before the arrival of FC personnel.

FC spokesman vowed to continue anti-terrorism operation till the elimination of last terrorist in the country.

This was reported ONLY by The Nation, Dunya News [website], PAkistan Today, not even paragraph compared to that Hindu woman report. Which I'm sure would've gotten a lot more attention in Dawn, Tribune, The News.

Don't know if this report is true, even if it is I doubt her family will get any help from the mombatti mafia as the 'influential' are fellow drinkers with them in elite parties in Islamabad and Karachi.
The report 'itself' will be used as 'asset' by mombatti gang HRC dramas and by indian media to prepare another anti-indian muslim report or 'the atrocities on hindus in Pakistan' to give more tools to apply pressure on indian muslims to be hinduized.

Yes its very poor @haviZsultan, dekh k dil Dukh jata ha .
Women there are considered below cattle , I personally met some women in naseer abad who were sold by their father for one or two lakhs .
Many among my own family females died due to dirty water and lack of medical facilities and many killed in name of honour .


In sha Allah this time I go there , I'll portray its poverty and merciless condition through pictures . I'm also thinking to start a charity fund for that area .
