The practice has been abolished ages ago... and also, just like Muslims say the present day Jihadis or ISIS does't represent true Muslims, same goes for caste-system and medieval practices like that. In-fact there is no such thing in our religious books.

The only place where it lives so voraciously is the internet actually, where trolls and.. let's say challenged.. people like you thrive.

On-Topic: This is a very good statement that should be given more publicity. It's stuff like this that needs to reverberate throughout the Hindu Community.

Right and wrong in my observation. Caste based discrimination still is not completely gone. There are many pockets in the country where caste is used for discrimination including temple access (even though it is illegal).

Equally importantly, there is severe SEVERE reverse discrimination. Quotas and reservations are out of controls.
