We are human beings. We should behave like humans. This means you shoild always hold up certain standards, even when situation is suboptimal. This means, shower 2 times a day, eat with fork and spoon. Dont sit in dirt ect.

This helps to make situation easier and it also make things easier. There is no situation worse enough to behave like a monkey.

When i did fly Chile, it was 16h flight. I did shower at airport, brushed my teeth in aircraft ect.

They seem to have rice bowels, so tbey should buy spoons. It would also slow down cholera.

Tell me how European lived like just 200 years ago? City of London had to pass a law in parliament to not to throw human excreta in the road from road side building.But it was seldom enforced and people did the work as usual.People drunk from same river where all the human sewage were thrown.European specially French bathed very seldom.So perfume were widely used to hide the bad smell.The very unhygienic condition in Europe was the prime factor why black death and other epidemic was so severe in Europe.

Current hygiene consciousness in Western countries are very recent phenomenon, mainly happened in the last 100-150 years with rising prosperity and education.These refugees are the most down-trodden people in the world.They are extremely poor and uneducated.Expecting them to have the civic sense and etiquette like that of a western man is not right.And they wash hand before eating, so it is not as unhygienic as you are assuming.

Actually we dont use fork while eating. Even I use hands to eat rice. This is how it is and the recipes are made that way so that they can be enjoyed while eating with hands.

Regarding bathe, these people take bathe at least once a day. Plenty of water around and these people behave more like a buffalo than monkey while coming to taking bathe.
