Hindu parents adopt Muslim child in Hyderabad

India constitution has various laws to adopt; A kid can be adopted by the family or by the organization. In the old days also it was apporved as property belongs to a boy kid so ppl used to adopt a boy incase if they dont have any. But forceful adoption is against the law and only FATHER and MOTHER has a say here and other family members has nothing to do with it. The kid will be under the supervision of the gardians till 18 years and later its his/her decision. Also that child cant be misused for any gwrong purpose like child labour etc. He is equally reponsible and has right to get the property share from parents.

There is no where religen/caste involved. Hindu/Muslim adopt is not sure how good it is..becouze it might create a kind of confusion in the kids mind later.
But if u see histry great ppl like SAI BABA is muslim kid adpoted by Hindu Family. He become god later. Both muslims and hindus worship him. Infact even our ex president Abdul kalam is not directly adopted, but grown and lived with hindus all his time. He is like a god too

So now that she has violated Islamic law, will that child be punished by god?

i don't know.but she is too young to identify a sin( she didn't commit any sin btw) and are the parents Muslim? it's neither! so there is no point of bringing Islam and Islamic laws in here.

God has better (and bigger) things to do rather than worry about these minor issues. He should be happy if a child is being taken care.

When you could not object to this on the basis of humanity, you resorted to technicality.

Why are you unable to appreciate the beauty of life, love, compassion and togetherness...Your hate-filled mindset...never mind

If adoption means giving a loving home and family to a orphaned / displaced child and to look after and raise him just like you would do to your biological child, the answer is YES!.

The only thing which is not legal is trying to change a child's biological identity -- which is actually something that is not possible logically.

Islam totally allows Muslims to raise children who are not born to them, to look after them, and support them financially, emotionally and spiritually, but they must name the children after their biological fathers.

She changed her name to "Sonia". which is not allowed in Islam.

Islam encourages the believers to look after and take care of children who have no parents and to treat them like their children by birth. However, Islam's stance on adoption rests on the necessity of keeping the biological parents of the child always in the picture.

Keeping the original surname of the child, and letting him know the identity of his birth parents are some of the conditions stipulated by the Islamic law when legalizing fostering.

The reasons are thus: in Islam, children have automatic rights to inheritance from their biological parents, they can not marry their Mahrams (unmarriageable persons) and they can marry from their adoptive family if no suckling took place.

The rules of modesty / hijab exist between the grown child and adoptive family members of the opposite sex.

If the child is provided with property/wealth from the biological family, adoptive parents are commanded to take care and not intermingle that property/wealth with their own.

They serve merely as trustees and are bound to make the child owner of all such wealth once he/she reaches maturity.

All these rules have to be taken into consideration for a Muslim adoption.

Nope. God only worries about the infallible laws and if people are following them correctly. For some reason however, people can't seem to agree what the laws are, exactly.

Now if only God could come down himself sometime and clear up all the confusion....

actually there is adoption in quran

heres a verse from the quran:
[33:5] You shall give your adopted children names that preserve their relationship to their genetic parents. This is more equitable in the sight of GOD. If you do not know their parents, then, as your brethren in religion, you shall treat them as members of your family. You do not commit a sin if you make a mistake in this respect; you are responsible for your purposeful intentions. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful. (See also 4:5-6).

yes, that adoption in quran is different from one we see in west. read above post about the rules of adoption

Well it is overdue.

Remember the most famous shloka of the Bhagavata Gita.

Yada yada hi dharmashya......

This is the fag end of Kalyug and haani of the Dharma has never been greater.

Hi Rehman, all what u wrote is true but in Pakistan we do not practice strict Islamic way of adoption.
Our law allows us to adopt any child and give him new name.
Please, correct me if I'm wrong!
IMPO there is nothing wrong to have laws of a state allowing little more than what religon allows and those who want to limit them self to religon can do it in their personal capacity.
