Pakistan International Airlines office at Barakhamba Road, New Delhi came under attack on Thursday, Express News reported.

According to initial reports the office of the national carrier was attacked by Hindu extremists.

The activists reportedly broke windows and computers at the office. Security personnel have reached the site.

Following the attack, the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi contacted the Indian government on the incident and asked for a probe.

“All PIA staff is safe,” a Pakistan High Commission spokesperson said, according to Express News. “Provision of security is the responsibility of the Indian government,” he added.

In October, a meeting between Pakistan and India’s cricket boards officials was cancelled after Shiv Sena workers stormed the Mumbai office of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Malala always welcome in India, says Shiv Sena

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chief Shahryar Khan and the head of the PCB’s executive committee Najam Sethi had arrived in India on Sunday to hold talks with BCCI in a bid to finalise the India-Pakistan cricket series in December.

However, according to NDTV, the Hindu right-wing party activists crashed through the gates of the office in Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium chanting anti-Pakistan slogans and demanding Shahryar and Sethi’s immediate return.

In January last year, Indian authorities sent a closure notice to the New Delhi office of PIA in a move that could further strain the volatile relations between the two archrivals. The purchase of PIA’s properties in New Delhi was unauthorised, India’s Enforcement Directorate (ED) said in the notice and directed Pakistan’s national flag carrier to dispose of them.

Delhi moves against PIA office

PIA did not obtain permission from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) before purchasing the properties in New Delhi’s upscale central Connaught Place, says the ED, which is run by India’s finance ministry. Under India’s foreign exchange laws, foreign entities must obtain clearance from the RBI before buying any property in the country.

“I want to tell all peacemakers in India that Shiv Sena and Saamna has appreciated the efforts and the struggle carried by Malala against terrorism in Pakistan. If Malala comes to India, Shiv Sena would also welcome her,” Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said in Mumbai, according to the Times of India.

shiv sena doesn't know that malala promotes socialism as the solution for south asia.

Bajrang dal guys are like in laws of Modi. Both have an old relationship and partnership that goes back to massacre and mass murder of Gujarat.

Shiv sena is going bonkers........ Day by day they are proving themselves to be bunch of "Idiots"

Issue at hand is not what Shiv Sena are or what they are proving themselves to be..
Issue is what Indian government is doing about that? When "Shiv Sena" is getting banned in India or its top-leaders booked under law is the real question?

Interesting :coffee:

I fail to see why any Pakistani wants to travel to India. If your family fled India because of persecution, why are you going back? And if you're going back, please stay there. Permanently.
