'Hindu Conversion to Islam by Force' Really?????

I am unable to clearly interpret that statement

Does it mean a Muslim girl after marriage should not see her parents? or a Muslim girl should not see her Hindu parents?
It wasn't that hard to understand...

What do you mean "should"? Can't any girl have issues with her parents who didn't let her get married according to her wishes and then created a national issue out of it? Regardless of religion, what her parents did was lie to the media and the courts about the facts of the case and falsely accused the husband of kidnapping. Any loving wife would side with her husband after such an ordeal.

.
Girl got kidnapped and in the last confesses under the pressure from Religious group to concede before police and media that she converted by will

She had all the avenues of safety, the media was in the face of everybody, the courts had ordered all relevant authorities and were totally involved, the girls parents were there, the human rights activists were there and then she comes up on the podium and boos everyone down.

So now saying she did it under duress - not once but twice - is just being lame, since that can be said about any thing.

i think its very difficult for Indians to digest the reality and they lost a chance to spread false propaganda . try next time dear indian members

I don't think you"ve got my point? Why did she have to say "As a Muslim girl i have nothing to do with my parents"

She could have just said i have nothing to do with her parents

On a side note, i consider this an internal Pakistani matter.

We never demanded a case in Sukkur, our case has been re-opened in karachi high court and supreme court has also taken notice of this case today, rinkle will be presented in high court on 12th march, We want rinkle to be sent to Dar-ul-Aman for atleast a week where she can decide out of pressure.
I am asking those who are very happy on this News !! Is it a hidden fact that feudals in sindh have significant influence on police, courts and everything… you guys always criticise feudals/waderas of sindh , what has happened to u guys now ? thats why we have filed pettition in karachi not in sukkur.

Pak Hindu community moves court for girls' recovery

Pakistan's Supreme Court today ordered the police in Sindh province to take steps for the early recovery of Hindu girls who had been kidnapped, court officials said.

The court was informed by Ramesh Kumar, Patron-in-Chief, Pakistan Hindu Council that during the few past days, three girls from the Hindu community - Rinkle Kumari and Lata kidnapped from Karachi and Poja Devi from Larkana Larkana have been abducted and the whole community feels insecure, as a result they have lodged a protest in Karachi.

He prayed that necessary directions be issued to the government for recovery of these girls on the next date of hearing, a Supreme Court statement said.

The Court directed Inspector General of Police Sindh to take all necessary steps for effecting recovery of the three girls of the Hindu community and produce them before the court on the next date of hearing on March 26.

The order was issued by a three member bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry. Attorney General for Pakistan appeared on behalf of respondent and requested for some time to seek instructions from the concerned quarters.

A lawyer for the Hindu Council recently said that the Hindu girls are abducted to force them to change religion and also to exert pressure on them for marriages.

Meanwhile, Rinkle whose Muslim name is now Faryal claimed she converted to Islam and had married Naveed Shah of her own free will, and that nobody had pressurised her into this.

The girl was presented before the media after she and her husband appeared before the Sindh High Court after the Hindu community had held protests in Karachi and other parts of the Sindh province against her forcible conversion.

Glad the supreme court is taking action.

I think it's high time Express Tribune admitted they were wrong to publish the preceding articles the "way they did", & that they were wrong in their assumptions.

what is the legal age for a girl to be declared as major(who can take the decesion on her own) in Pakistan?
i am not aware of this info.
If the legal age to get married is 18, then sure the girl should either sent with her parents or if she feels insecure of staying with her parent because of fear of "Honor Killing" then she has to be sent to a private hostel by the Court until she turns 18 and then she can join her hubby.

Age of marriage in Pakistan is 16 for girls, and I don't think they need parental consent even at that age.

If she said those words - I didn't read them yet, since you've put it in double quotes you're claiming this is an actual quote (perhaps translated from Urdu). The original article says something a little differently but nowhere quotes her words, could be nothing.

There may be something in the religion about mehram/na mehrum - people who can see the women without hijab and people who can't. Being Hindu, the father may get disbarred, but usually muslim girls in Pakistan commonly roam around without Hijab so why would it be an issue for a love-marriage kinda girl - just a guess though I don't know such specifics either about her and more likely if she gave the parents a boot its because they pissed her off.

Moreover most converts do cut off ties with their home families (as do ex-Muslims). Usually the conversions are not family friendly affairs and this particular case was extreme as it became a national issue in Pakistan. You have to remember this wasn't done hidden in some mosque this was a big public wedding, so if it was a kidnapping it was a shock to us Pakistanis as well obviously no one likes to see such a bad thing associated to their faith as forced conversion.

Pak Hindu community moves court for girls' recovery

Glad the supreme court is taking action.

The Indian newspaper was a little late, the lower courts were moved, she appeared before them she said its all good, she then came on the media and said its all good.

I think Faryal Shah/Rinkle's case would be dropped, but the other 2 cases are well worth the look of the supreme court.

Then its good for the Parents to STFU and as far as this girl is considered she is lost to them because they did not properly care for her or she has had a itcy feeling for a male counter part that she left her parents who cared for her until this episode started.

. .
Nobody can convert to Islam (by force or freewill) they do not feel it in their hearts.

.
"Forced conversion" ... to a religion that "oppresses" women & is a threat to the world ... I guess women like to be oppressed hence becoming Muslim in droves ...

We are coming people,,, run run if you can ... hehehe ... we are coming to "oppress" the world.

Islam is going to take over the world, whether someone likes it or not ...

She's been waiting for 2 years to join oppressive terrorist religion even faced with opposition from her family.
