ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly is decorated with a massive national flag, prepared by the country’s Hindu community with over 60,000 balloons, which will be revealed during the upcoming joint session of the parliament.

Students belonging to different educational institutions across the country are also invited to visit the Parliament House on August 14.

Installed on one side of the main entrance, the massive flag covers the whole area from floor to ceiling of the assembly hall.

Pakistan Hindu Council (PHC) chairman and member of the National Assembly, Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani is confident that the effort of around three dozen volunteers belonging to the Hindu community would make it to the Guinness Book of World Records.

Dr Vankwani said the community stands with the rest of the country when it comes to Pakistan’s defence. “We want to give a clear message to the world that we stand united for the defence our motherland,” he added while commenting on the deteriorating situation of the Indian-occupied Kashmir (IoK).

“The flames of war between the two nuclear powers can engulf the entire world,” the MNA remarked.

He said the United States must convince India that the Afghan peace cannot be achieved without the help and support of Pakistan.

You Indians don't understand. Indian muslims were rulers that now enjoy being 5th class citizen behind even dalits. While 95% of Pakistani hindus, mostly from Tharparkar were dalits that we have tried to uplift since then. Hence their love and support for Pakistan unconditionally.

This is extremely flawed criteria to measure the prosperity of any community in any country? Do you even think from your head? Major Democracies like USA UK or Scandinavian welfare states also never had hindu minister or generals does it means the neo fascist india is better than them?
Its more about how entire community lives rather than afew pet dogs who have been brought to public offices just for the sake of PR. We never had hindu PM we might never have but also our army never invaded their temples the Airforce didnt drop bombs on them. If it was due to religious make up, Kargil would be part of Kashmir and Jammu would be an independent UT. Didn’t happen, right? Firstly you have to take the reply in the context to the point to which it answered.
Secondly how many Indians on this forum post here against our minorities? If you are going to use selective filters, then you can have any kind of informations from India, is 1.3bn+ size country any thing and everything happens here, its only what you want to see or what sells in media.

Being such a diverse country for us the religion doesnt matter because every next hindu can be different, one might follow vishu other might follow shiva and third might follow cow or some random stone named after god, if we are going to look everyone different in that way, then we can never be together, thats where our constitution comes into picture. It has glued every one in such a fantastic way that with all our differences we are still one. But people with there color glasses and personsal motives will try to show case a color that suits them.
