come on. what civilization ? does the word indian sound "indian"? its a fake identity and actually a slur. There are indians in indonesia (called as dutch east indies), indians in entire north and south americas. Indian means a derogotary word for brown people like N word for black people.

I really don't care what it sounds like or the word's origin etc. Also I'm least interested in what's it for somebody else. What I'm stating is Indians themselves are very comfortable in their skin and their identity. In fact browse this forum and you will find Pakistanis accusing Indians/Hindus of having some kind of fake superiority complex (which I agree to a certain degree).

Brahmins have a fake superiority complex I doubt dalits have when their presence itself is treated as dirt. More than 50 percent of "indians" here are brahmins.
